Upselling and Charged extra for a "genuine" apple screen replacement, only for it not to work after 2 weeks. Thought I will support a local business. Took it to a reputable service and had the technician tell me I've been scammed by paying a premium for a knock off sub-standard part. Definitely not an Apple genuine part. Just realised I supported a local scammer.. Go use Infinity Loop by Jewellery Quarter instead. They do the job right at a better price.
Bit of a scam tbf, quoted £50 to unlock my dad's iPhone, and then charges a further £79 for a poor quality, cheap phone. Very disappointed as we like to adhere to supporting small businesses, but I would avoid this shop at all costs! Waste of money, from a vulnerable man.
Quick repairs. Best place to be in. Needed my phone fixed same day as it was my work phone. Tried 3 different shops they said they need it to keep it for a few days. A friend of mine recommended these guys, went in. The staff was very helpful and well knowledgeable and the technician promised me same day service and exactly an hour later they managed to fix my phone and supplied me with warranty too!!!! Wish you the best guys. KEEP IT UP !!!!!
Brought a tempered glass cover paid £10 first time. So returned to get a replacement when it cracked however got charged £20 for the exact same case. When I questioned this got given some nonsense about how this one is different it’s not. It’s exactly the same couldn’t be bothered to argue in the shop. However will not return and suggest others find alternative phone shops to spend hard earned money.
I have recently had the phone screen replaced of my A71 here. It was mainly a positive experience however there was one thing I found frustrating which I will post in my review below. I took my screen to be replaced at phone Kings and they stated this would cost £95 for a replacement screen - no problem. When I came to collect it the next day screen had to be ordered -again not an issue, I was charged an extra £65 as apparently ink had leaked onto the motherboard from a hairline crack in the LCD. I was not shown any evidence of this, and whilst this may have been the case, this was carried out without my permission or knowledge so when I went to collect my phone I had an extra £65 bill to foot that I didn't even know about. There was no communication about this work to me before this was carried out. When I got home there were several problems with the screen - it was in a worst state than when I handed it in, dim screen, fingerprint scanner not working, keyboard not working, camera had a big shadow over it. I called the shop and they were more than happy to replace the screen once more under the 12 month warranty at no additional cost. My phone has now been fully repaired back to the original standard. Overall I was pleased with the service I got and my phone is now fully repaired however it was frustrating to find an extra bill without knowing extra work was needed/evidence of the damage, I may not have had that extra £65 to spend and what would I have done then...
Charged me £125 to fix my phone and gave it me back still not working. Told me the "repair would take a few hours and had the phone 2 days. They want more money to replace more parts. Please read all the bad reviews and I'm not sure the good ones are real . This phone shop has a lot of reviews for how long it's been open which balance out all the bad reviews. The guy feels you out for a reaction to the price he first gives you then ups the price but saying that's the part price and we charge for the install .they told me the part my phone needed costs £75.He tried to up the price but another £20 but could see I wasn't keen so he gave up . I found it online for £4 lol. I got a really dodgey feeling about the place and I wouldn't have used them again even if they fixed my phone .
Do not pay these scammers anything, telling me i would get a genuine Apple screen replacement with 12 months warranty, when in fact my phone tells me the screen is not genuine Apple. They charged me for £140 with an additional charge of £40 to clean motherboard, also asking for me to pay cash leaving many features unavailable including no network/face I.D, phone switching on and off for 8 hours at a time and many others.. when i took the phone back they told me they were under new ownership and took no liable responsibilities wanting more money, and for me to leave my phone pin code with them. In the review below mine it says 3 months ago the new owners were brilliant so somebody is lying. He cannot lie for jokes and i caught him out at least 5 times whilst recording the conversation!!! A lady was also in there complaining for whatever reason! I am forwarding this recording and screenshots to a Trading Standards investigation pending if i do not get that golden phone call immediately from the guy in hiding! There has not been a phone shop sign on the front for a reason.. And I’m the one with the attitude apparently. You are better off launching your phone up a wall!!!
