Had an appointment on 17 th April 2024, waited 3hours 30 mins after my appointment only to be told that it was cancelled due to faulty equipment. The reception staff that were loud and their language was foul. Another appointment was made for Sunday 21st. While talking to the nurse she wanted to take my blood sugars, the only problem was they had 4 monitors but no test strips, it took them 30 mins for them to get one. I had my procedure done and was given a prescription for the next day. Today i went to Boots the Chemist to get the meds, but was refused them as my prescription didn’t have my name on. So I rang them spoke to a girl on reception who was very rude. Well they rang me back and asked me to go in to get it altered. I could not do that as t live 50 minutes away. So i rang my GP and bless them they got it sorted for me. So good luck to anyone who goes there for treatment the place and some of the staff are DIRE.
The disabled parking bays result in a fine via cameras for using over 2 hours ...the appointment was for 3 1/2 hours with anaesthetic....thanks for 70£ fine
I never write reviews. This is my 1st. This place wrote me 4 letters each stating I should wear a face mask to my appointment, only to be mocked by the practitioners for actually turning up wearing one. Was told to take it off and that they don't do anything anyway. I Informed them that I was wearing it also out of courtesy as I was actually poorly, only to be met with more derision.nThe only nice fellow I met was the Indian chap at the end who did my consultation. Everyone else was borderline rude. This place makes money from taking nhs referrals but with none of the ethics of actual health care.
Had a Colonoscopy done today, can't complain one bit. Doctors and nurses were lovely and made me feel at ease straight away. I wasn't in long even after sedation, very simple procedure.
I’ve waiting for nearly 2 years for an appointment with the menopause clinic which ended up being a 5 min phone call with someone who clearly isn’t trained in the menopause. She wasn’t interested in anything I said. She just brushed my concerns off. These people just don’t care anymore about the general public unless you are paying!
