I have no hesitation at all in recommending Phil Stamper in treating post operative hip replacement. It's very convenient that he visits at home with his folding treatment table. He is an excellent listener. His advice was carefully tailored to the stage my husband had reached. His recommendations for exercises were clear, practical and supported by subsequent email. He was encouraging, and added greatly to my husband's recovery.and progress, He greatly enhanced the post operative experience, and was a hugely valuable resource in the recovery process. He was recommended by a local GP and we feel fortunate to have been able to take advantage of this recommendation.
Phil was recommended to me by a friend as I was in a lot of pain due to a herniated disc. After months of pain and developing a fear of moving due to the discomfort, I was instantly put at ease during my first appointment with Phil and filled with hope that I could get back to normal. Phil reviewed my MRI Scan and precribed suitable exercises over a few months, increasing in difficulty as I improved. It was great to be treated at home, really convenient and comfortable. Phil is very professional, personable and helpful; Phil emailed the exercises to me each time with advice and guidance. I finally have my life back and can ride my horse again which I wasnt sure would be possible! I cant recommend Phil enough - thanks again!
Phil was brilliant. Had some pain in my knee that wouldn't go away for months. After a couple of sessions and following the personalised excercise sheet Phil made me, the pain has now started to go away and I'm back running. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and get me straight on the road to recovery. Coming out to the house for appointments is a great bonus too!
I first met Phil in March this year for a assement only. I just needed a bit of help to identify muscle imbalance and pain around my pelvis including low back and hip pain. First of all, it was very convenient that Phil came to my flat so I saved time for traveling. He was very attentive, friendly and easy to talk to. Made me feel very comfortable. Phil Stamper is an exceptional physiotherapist with a sympathetic manner. He inspires confidence and self belief. He came to my home after my first knee replacement 12 times and for the second I only needed six. The best money I have ever spent. In both cases I made great recoveries. Can not fault Phil's service and expertise, plus being treated in your home is a real bonus. He instructions are clear and concise and he e-mails you the exercises he sets after the session, which is really helpful. I have already recommended Phil to friends and will continue to do so.
Struggled with pain for a few years despite seeing a chiropractor and then an osteopath. I took a chance on Phil whose details I found online. He diagnosed the issue and after three appointments and daily exercises has helped me a great deal!
