Fabulous pub. Fabulous food. Amazing service. Would definitely recommend this place Dog friendly tables for eating near the bar area and also a restaurant at the side for people without dogs. Lots of specials available on the board. Can stay here too. Can't wait to go back for another meal
Found completely by accident during a recent family holiday, but we were so impressed we booked another table for our last night while we were there. Food was delicious, a really good choice of dishes although not much of a selection for my daughter, who is vegan. Very good service too, by everybody. I only ordered the fish and chips, but it was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, white flakes of meat with a superb crispy batter that stayed crisp. The onion rings were sublime also All of our group enjoyed our meals and visit, hence the return. Highly recommended. Yum yum.
Always amazing food and great atmosphere. You can come to this pub if you just want a quick drink or you want a full slap up meal to celebrate a special occasion. The family who run the pub are lovely and always looking to better their service, product and help the local community. They also do a great pub quiz!!
We booked a table for four and from the moment we arrived the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The three course lunch menu was brilliant value at £17.50 and all three courses were excellent - the sausage and duck egg on the main was phenomenal and the sticky ginger pudding was delicious. The children's dishes were also great and just the right size. Definitely hope to visit The Pheasant Inn again the next time we're in the lakes!
We didn't stay here so can't comment on the "Inn" side of things. Stopped for lunch on our way back from Grange over Sands. Dog friendly - the staff made a real fuss of my girl Pumpkin I had fish and chips - they offer a small portion for those who have a smaller appetite, but I still found this to be a generous size. Very tasty, would recommend
My family and I were extremely impressed with this restaurant and the staff! The food was amazing and the location was spot on. The Sunday lunch is to die for!! We were staying at the Haven Lakeland holiday park and decided to venture out. We were not disappointed! 5 stars for The Pheasant!
We were a nightmare set of diners! My daughter felt ill, and then she was fine. We re-ordered and cancelled the food twice . The staff were wonderful and the positivity just brims from the place! Thank you for looking after us. A star for service!Service: 5/5

I have disabled husband - went in to ask about access and Rob came out in pouring rain and pushed my husband in and also when we had finished- out again. We had delicious Morcombe Bay prawns that I can thoroughly recommend quite superb. I had a very good salad to go with it. Followed by sticky toffee pudding. My greedy husband put ice cream, cream and custard on top but they did not seem to mind. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would give more stars if available. Thank you to Rob and the staff
Went twice in one week. Great menu fully explained by waitress and waiter who helped our Gluten free friend. Made to feel welcome. Easy parking.
