Awful customer service, cheeky and arrogant. Got the bag of food fired across the table at me as I was picking it up. The chicken fillet burger was then found to have half of the lettuce was brown. Will not be there again.
Awful service order my food over an hour ago and I’m still waiting I’ve been trying to ring in store to see if it was out for delivery which the phone line was either busy or they took the phone off the hook and I couldn’t get through ordered at 7.30 and at 8.55 still no food
Absolutely shocking service ordered on the app and only when I went in the store 20mins later they didn't accept it and only started to cook the food only I had already paid I would of left, when I asked if this was the case I was lied to and said it had been cooking but just not accepted yet I seen the other woman put the burger on. I waited and after 35-40mins I took the food then was asked to pay again which I replied I had already paid so proceeded to the car and before driving off the other woman came out and asked me that it wasn't paid for and only knowing it had came out off my account I said for the second time I had paid. Never be back in gortmerron pgs the workers have no manners and they are running the name into the ground. Avoid
First class fish and chips great friendly staff very clean shop take away only and also burgers are delicious
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Not sure what was nicer the donor pitta or the Southern Fried Chicken...i think the chips win by a short head. If you get a chance do try their food it really is so good. Staff were friendly and helpful, price was great value for money.
Always loved going to PGs for a chippy on a Friday but last time I got food it was very poor. Chips were cold and super sauce and curry was really runny and tasted horrible,it was as if they had run out of sauce and used water in it. I ordered on the online app which was very good and easy to use. Nice and clean shop. Have 2 children which are very picky when it comes to sauces and they both dont ever want to get it again.
A simple mistake erupted into confrontation between staff and myself. PG Chips have always provided great chips in the past but current staff are atrocious. I was accused of being 'intimidating' and 'aggressive' because I pointed my finger to a staff member. I was then told if my attitude didn't change the man would refuse me service. There was no attitude from myself. I was absolutely shocked as all I said to a trainee was that 'You made a mistake'. In no way did I raise my voice, threaten or intimidate. After all, its only chips! The staff need to educate themselves on what 'aggressive' and 'intimidating' mean. The Manager is friendly and advised they are understaffed and overworked yet sided with her staff which is understandable , I understood completely, however the rude and aggressive male staff member who didn't even listen was about to refuse me service. Over chips!! I actually drove back to apologise, yet he didn't even bother to acknowledge me or accept my apology to which HE instigated, my reaction was response to his manner. Its called taking the higher ground and I well and truly took it. I made a point of driving back to apologise to the girl who was on training, however he was disgustingly rude in front of his manager, who turned a blind eye. I'm glad I spoke to the manager as she was understandable however if training is being provided, the male staff member could do with a refresher, as I'd go as far to say he was aggressive and intimidating. He was downright ignorant from the onset. I understand businesses are stretched and tensions fought, however when a customer makes the conscious effort to apologise and go out of their way to drive back to the shop, its courtesy for that person to acknowledge and not ignore. He seemed quite young but old enough to have manners. Disappointing attitude from what is usually a very friendly chip shop. Clearly overworked staff. All this over a simple mistake that could have been so easily rectified by the trainee asking a question. Who knew buying chips could be such a drama?
Just got lunchtime special for my family and what we got was burnt to crisp tasted awful service is not as good as it used to be
A joke of a place. Terrible food. Highly recommend going some place else. Wouldn’t be worth eating even if they were handing it away for free.
Everytime I order food it takes hours to come! today I ordered food at 6 rang them at 7 and they said its on its way. I waited 10 to 9 they brought my food.. 10 mins before the shop closes not the first time I wasnt gonna take the food only my family felt bad for the delivery man
