Viscounts Restaurant in Dungannnon, Northern Ireland was established in 1994 and has won numerous awards including the Belfast Telegraph's Blue Ribbon as one of the four best Restaurants in the Province.

Viscounts restaurant prides itself on serving locally source food and offering a unique dining experience to people across the province and beyond.

Set in a former one hundred year old Church Hall, the Cathedral-style wooden ceiling and the Gothic-type stained glass windows give a wonderful medieval ambiance to the interior of the listed building

We had a fantastic experience at Vicounts during our recent stay in Northern Ireland. Our group of 4 adults and one child thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful food - it was simply impeccable! The meat dishes were juicy and tender, and all the sides were seasoned to perfection. The service was efficient, with friendly and attentive staff, including the manager who took our order. We look forward to returning on our next trip to NI. The only suggestion for improvement would be to brighten up the overall lighting of the place slightly, as it felt a bit too dim for our liking though we understand the theme. Highly recommended - a must visit spot!
Great restaurant. Brilliant Christmas decor. Loved my starter fried king scallops. Service was good and didn't wait too long for meals to arrive. Highly recommended.
We had booked a table for 9 people in the run up to Christmas. The food was good but the whole experience was spoiled by the owner who bluntly asked us to leave the table after we had just finished our meal. This was so embarrassing since we were treating our staff to their Christmas dinner. While I understand the restaurants are busy and need to capitalise on this - the rudeness was quite unbelievable! There is a way to do this and we could have been subtly told when we were going in that the table was needed for 8.30. We were not offered a seat upstairs in the bar - just asked to leave. We felt like we had just been thrown out. We frequented Viscounts for special occasions. Needless to say - we will not be back!
Really disappointed with the experience, especially considering how much they charge for the quality of food we received. I ordered the chilli beef wrap and everything just fell out of it, the wrap clearly wasn’t folded properly and felt really rushed. There was also no mention on the menu that it came with onions, so I don’t understand why they were in my meal, I also despise onions.nnThe chips were bland, and my parent’s roast dinner wasn’t any better, the vegetables were hard and undercooked. To top it off, my coke was flat.nnAlthough the christmas decorations were gorgeous, and the staff were really friendly, the food has just put me off completely.nnOverall, not impressed at all. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be coming back.
Always a fantastic meal in Viscounts. The menu choices are great and good size portions. Most recently, we are last weekend for a family birthday and the monkfish curry was much spicier than usual, borderline difficult to eat. The only criticism I would have is that we were not checked on during our meal and when clearing our food our waitress didn't ask how everything was, so this opportunity to either rectify the meal or give feedback was missed. In fairness to them it was very busy and usually management are very good at coming round to check on everyone. Additionally, food is well timed so that all meals are brought out together in sync. A very enjoyable experience all round.
