I took my 13 year old, blind, arthritic Spaniel to Groom Room. I couldn't praise them enough. Pip looked amazing and very happy. We are definitely going again. I bought treats and some balm for my pets and all the staff were friendly, smiling and very helpful.
Went today to look at buying some fish and came across possibly the nicest member of staff I’ve ever dealt with when going to any pets at home in the north east. This fine young gentleman goes by the name of Dan, his knowledge, know how, eagerness and all round customer care was second to non. He made something that can be quite stressful depending on the member of staff a throughly enjoyable experience and we have found our new place to buy future fish and hopefully deal specifically Dan. He’s defo on our Christmas card list next year have a good Christmas! Chelsea and Louis
Very convenient and local with very helpful and friendly staff, especially when picking up an online order and they’re very willing to help you to your car with your items. Downsides to Pets at Home in general is their prices can be on the higher side, and to this one in particular they quite often don’t have what I want in stock in the store….but I can only give my dogs specific food.
Great branch of pets at home, had all I needed for bringing my new puppy home.
It seems to be fairly priced for most things in its enormous range of goods & staff are always helpful

I've just returned from the Pets At Home, Morpeth shop. A young lad called Richard served me. He was incredibly helpful, advised me of the discounts available in the VIP scheme, waited until I got my mobile from my car, downloaded the App for me and with my consent, entered the information required, checked and applied all the discounts available and reduced my bill considerably. He has an outstanding appreciation of excellent customer service and a lovely, helpful, patient manner in dealing with customers. I have been unable to find the e mail address of the Pets at Home Area Manager which is a pity - someone should tell him or her what an amazing employee they have in Morpeth. I hope this review gets back to Richard, the Store Manager and higher management - he is very good at his job and they should be made aware of this. You should promote him - he would make a great Customer Service Trainer. Jan Little
Excellent customer service from Neil, Manager at Pets at Home Morpeth. I had ordered a large dog cage online but when it was delivered the plastic tray insert was badly cracked. I was unable to contact anyone by phone so visited the Morpeth store. Neil arranged to send the damaged tray back and organised for a replacement to be sent to the store. He rang to tell me it had arrived and unpacked the parcel to check the replacement was not damaged. Excellent customer service.
Lovely shop with helpful cheerful staff. As usual these stores are great for people with mobilty problems as they have wide aisles and step free entrances. Well lit and maintained well. I shop for my German Shepherd there and I always find what I am looking for as their stock levels are very good
If I could give zero I could….. I placed an order for click and collect was supposed to be ready to collect on Friday, received no message by 5.00pm on Saturday so I rang to chase it, I was told it would most likely be Monday but nothing guaranteed, I tried to explain that this wasn’t acceptable and that you shouldn’t be given a specific day unless this was guaranteed, this was in between being constantly being interrupted and spoken over, I was then hung up on…. I rang back and asked to speak with the same person, the exact same thing, constantly being interrupted, the person I spoke to was Richard who I found out was apparently manager for the day god help them when I asked to speak with the manager, his attitude was disgusting and disrespectful and tbh he didn’t give a s**t if he dealt with my query or not and certainly didn’t make any attempt for an apology, I asked him to cancel the order and refund me, he said he would then hung up on me again. When trying to actually speak to anyone in customer service it’s an absolute waste of time, it’s online chat which isn’t a chat it’s just messages back and forward or go to the website, I now have to go and purchase my item somewhere else whilst waiting for my refund, I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MORPETH BRANCH……..
