Plenty of options but a bit on the pricey side. Good display of fluffy pets right in the the centre as you walk in for the kids to beg for. But... How could they remove the reptile section?? My kids (and me 😊) loved going in to see the dragon's and snakes... At least they kept their food (locusts and crickets) so I can still freak - entertain them 🤣

Went in for tropical fish... I needed 3 female mollies to balance my tank (any colour). To cut a long, distressing story short the assistant harassed the fish ...swirling and swirling them as she clearly didn't know how to sex them. She then tried to seperate the male from the female she finally caught by fishing it from the bag by hand- squashing it with her fingers against the bag. It was then dumped back in the tank. The final straw was on the 3rd attempt when she dropped a fish from the tank onto the floor. I left at that point as I couldn't watch anymore. I emailed Pets at Home to highlight the issue of poor staff training but alas 3 weeks later no response. Shocking welware and training issues need addressed.

Staff were very helpful when I was in looking for cat litter which I was looking for, the manager explained what the issue was with their shipment and explained how I'd get the litter sooner if I ordered it online within a few days which I did. She also advised me on a similar litter I could use in the meantime. Good service!

Fantastical. Great selection to spend lots of money on my furry baby. However I just used the groom room and it's absolutely terrible. I took my 8 month old cocker spaniel there and left very specific instructions on how I wanted the groom to be done. I even left the woman a note advising what I wanted. I collected my pup and was horrified, the cut was uneven on her back, she had long blonde strands of hair from her eyebrows growing towards her ears and it was cut in. I asked for her coat not to be clippered and he whole back has been,right behind her ears to her tail. From now on I'll just stick to using the store. This was the first time I used the groomroom.
