Great vets always pleasant and helpful. Even when my poorly furbaby had a very smelly accident in his carrier on our way to the surgery. The nurses were there in a flash rescuing us from an embarrassing situation, by whisking him away, they cleaned him and his carrier up and returned him to me without a second thought on their behalf. The vet is always gentle, patient and caring with my furbabies. He always takes the time to explain everything that he is doing and why until he is satisfied that I have understood. He also takes the time to give his patients extra love and attention so they always feel safe calm and secure with him and with what he is doing to make them healthy again. I will never go to another practice again.
Visited today. Good range of products and friendly staff, my only issue is outside the store, as the store welcomes dogs some un-responsible owners let their dogs foul outside the store doors and don't pick up. I understand that it is not the stores responsibility for this issue but maybe to encourage this not to happen a bin and some doggy bags could be provided. Its not a good look for the store, especially as young children like to visit to see the animals inside.
Served by a really kind and helpful member of the team. I had to post this review as you just don't get great customer service anymore, not even good. He really took time to go through vouchers and save us a fair bit of money I didn't realise I could use some of them on the purchases we had. I hope he gets recognised by his boss. Tall dark haired guy, very slim. Thank you!

Nice store, staff are ok if not a bit slow off the mark, but guess they might be inexperienced. I needed some help and the manager was really good and sorted my issue out
Occasionally I call at pets at home when I can not park in town to use the independent pet stores, this was one such visit, I had previosly spent a while looking over the internet to find a suitable rabbit hutch I could use to house serama bantams over night inside a shed. I came across details on their website of a hutch that was on offer...it stated in the details This luxury weather proof Bluebell Hideaway Guinea Pig and Rabbit Hutch 5ft provides a perfect two storey living space for rabbits and Guinea Pigs,. the measurements were ideal as seramas are extremely small and would have ample room to roost and keep warm and dry during the oncoming winter months. I bought one took it away and when I opened the box I was amazed at the poor quality of the timber, very thin and weak are words that describe all the timber that was available to construct the cage and without writing page after page to describe it, I can only say NO WAY IS IT SUITABLE TO BE USED FOR RABBITS AND GUINEA PIGS...they will chew their way out within a matter of hours and if used outdoors and it rains it will probably last a week before it starts to rot.....unless it's being used for an animal or bird that doesnt chew, DO NOT buy one keep looking for a real bargain. Now to repaint it so it can be washed out when its cleaned....
Very spacious store, pet friendly, you can join a vip membership with pets at home which then gets you discount sent in the post, free car parking out front, I find this a bonus plenty of car parking spaces.
Lots of products from food to fluffy stuff and vets to vitamins. Wide selection of food products many breed specific. Really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing seems too much bother for them. Lovely range of pets
