The woman that works there is very very rude. And most of the animals are in tiny cages and not well cared for, no idea how this store has been open for so long its disgusting. I tried to take a picture how small the bird cages awhile ago just to show a friend, no flash, woman came over and started shouting at me saying I'm not allowed to take pictures of the animals
The animals are kept in such small cages. The woman working there gave me a dirty look when I walked in, and when we left, the man working there was laughing at us. I felt very uncomfortable. Poor animals that are here, such as the geckos and frogs who are in a cage with loads of plastic plants and not one real one. Will never be returning. No wonder there’s ‘no photo’ signs everywhere and a fine for taking photos! Guessing they don’t want people to see photos of how bad the shop is and how bad the animals are kept.
Would give 0 stars if I could.. we came in to look at the animals.. I was having a PRIVATE conversation with my husband about the animals and wondered what the animals were like and a rude older woman was listening in saying "It bites, so don't upset them because I get bitten when cleaning them out!!" I wasn't even talking to her!! She then started following us around the shop and then shouted at my husband in a patronising way not to tap the glass which he apologised for.. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable to be honest. So every time we were looking at the animals.. she was constantly watching us and we were waiting for her to tell us off for looking at the animals. I really don't know who this woman thinks she is.. But she had no right to be rude and horrible. No wonder the shop was empty. I tell you now we shall never return to this store again... and this is me being polite!! This rude woman would benefit training in customer service and have some respect. Jobsworth.
Always time to answer questions, brilliant staff and their interesting, talking to children about the animals. Price's good, for food and bedding, parking is good too
Female staff member extremely patronising and judgmental we felt very uncomfortable during the visit. We were rushed into buying a goldfish and didn’t realise it was covered in white spot until it was too late. Poor conditions - now spending more money on treating the whole tank.
The old women in the shop is very rude. Looks at you like your a piece of dirt on the bottom of her shoe, she needs a lesson in customer service! I really couldn’t believe how dirty and dusty the shop was , the animal cages looked filthy, like they haven’t been cleaned in months! How hard is it to have a clean shop , needs closing down!
Extremely rude staff. Animals are kept in shocking conditions. Friend Bought an animal from here just to save it from being sad because it looked absolutely miserable.
Very rude old woman with big bushy hair. rude every time I go .too matter affect about everything! No one knows everything!! Time to retire I think . Will never return.
Absolutely disgusting customer service… every time I have entered the shop, i automatically get looked down on and followed around the shop. Very rude woman who was in today, she asked what I was looking for, so I politely said and asked if I could see some tortoises but because I’m young she decided to give me a mucky look along with saying “they are over there where it says on the bottom” in an extremely rude manner. Not only this when I went to go find the tortoises, she shouted across the shop saying “gone too far” as well in a rude manner. I have never felt so unwelcome, and I will never buy from here due to the rudeness let alone the extremely high prices. STAFF NEED TO BE SERIOUSLY PUT INTO PLACE AND KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!!!!
