Have to agree with the Gentleman who lost his Bonnie. We lost our beautiful Westie Molly this last weekend and are obviously heartbroken. She was collected promptly from the Vets and received a call just before we got home. We then rang back with her details and was told she would be in the Chapel of Rest until the following morning and would then be cremated. Having had a couple of hours to take everything in we rang back to say we would like to call in the morning to see her only to be told that she had already been cremated. Next morning we went to collect her and arrived at the reception to find a casket sat on shelf with her ashes. The man then gave us the casket and thanked us for using their services and gave us her certificate and keyring. We do feel that there was no compassion and unfortunately it was more business like than offering a service. Maybe a little more thought is required as people are collecting their life long companions and best friends and would like to know they have been given some sort of send off. We then made a call a couple of days later to see if the rug that she passed away on had been taken with her and was told it was not on site. Having then rang the vets who told us it had actually gone with her. It's nice to think that we have her back with us and we can remember all the joy we shared with her but I do think that sometimes people can be a little blasé and forget these are emotional times. Suggest maybe instead of picking up ashes of a shelf that they could be collected from the Chapel of Rest or another room instead of the reception.

I lost my dog this weekend and decided it was to be a dedicated service for her parting from us. We had a call to Inform us that the cemetery would collect her and would carry out the service and they would call for us to collect her - all very good and courteous and caring. Got a call to pick Bonnie up and went to receive her back. This is where unfortunately I felt that the service lacked any empathy - entered reception asking about collecting Bonnie and person on reception just got gasket and placed her on counter in front of me and indicated that they had completed a certificate for her death and thank you for using their services - as cold and unsympathetic as it could have been and made the whole experience very cold for what I felt was a traumatic experience in the loss of our Bonnie I am not out of my mind with the loss of Bonnie but feel the process let me down and I can’t share what looks to be a perfect review for the business. I must agree the location and set up looks perfect and very well laid out. But attention to detail was certainly lacking in my experience and the service was a money making machine without the sympathy for the pet owner who would like the best for their pet in the time of their loss Regards Andy

Fantastic service. From the young man who came to collect my dog, Ruby to collecting her ashes today. I have the utmost confidence that her body was treated with dignity and respect. Thats so comforting and the lovely touch of a lock of her hair in a keyring was a lovely. Thankyou xx

Tara was my best friend and the pain of losing her (this week) has been overwhelming. I expected Holywell to be a sad place to say goodbye but it really wasn't. The people there are so down to earth and understand how much people love their animals. I plan to get another dog and will be visiting with them to make use of the tea rooms and the grounds. Can't recommend them enough.
