Had a mixed grill and a couple of curries from here last week. The lamb balti don't normally eat much lamb out was bloody brilliant!!! The mixed grill was very good too. Would recommend and would revisit!!
Went there Saturday night 1st Oct, first visit. I live nearby but always go West Brom for mixed grill so thought try my local. Mixed grill was a let down. Chicken wings not really grilled more like homemade oven and flavour added. No grill taste at all. So were left over.. Chicken Jelfrezi balti was ok with nice naan breads. Overall food not to the standard if i compare against likes of Island Inn or Sportsman. Tavern needs to work on this. Otherwise nice place with plenty of TV screens to watch sports.
Good pub but terrible food felt it the next day real bad couldn't get off the toilet. also a hair in my cheesey chips.

Ordered a mixed grill and curry twice in 2 weeks and both times the food was incredible.
Excellent evening out with friends. Good place for dinning out with friends and family. Good selection of veg/nonveg Indian food. Very yummy Staff and owner very helpful. ample parking spaces and safe
Well this pub was once somewhere where you could enjoy a drink in the lounge. But no more, as now the lounge is a bar with 5 TVs and men who really should have been in the bar, as their language was foul, noisy and unacceptable, felt very comfortable as it my mom's local. The change since COVID is not a place we will bother to go again. False signs outside, it's not a lounge but a bar!! Not sure what clientele they are trying to draw, but it's not somewhere we will ever visit again. Will never recommend anyone else to go either!!
Food outstanding staff great I recomd it to every one I've had balts and curry i all over the country this is the best I've had in years
