Nice golf course, clean caravan NEEDS a shop on site you need a car to get about to all the different places. Very basic amenities on site, we went for the golf.

A nice quiet holiday park, no facilities if you have children with you. If you're wanting to buy a caravan there make sure you read the SMALL PRINT THOROUGHLY.

We stayed here on an offer from one of the deal sites (4 nights for £125) so we werent expecting much. How wrong we were. The site is massive. With really well kept grounds. There are a mixture of privately owned caravans and lodges plus ones that can be rented for a holiday. The caravan we stayed in was modern and a lot newer than expected. It contained pretty much everything you needed. The kitchen was well equipped with a kettle, toaster and microwave. All pots, pans and crockery were provided. The one negative was the main bedroom. It was very spacious and had ample clothes hanging space but I expected that it would have bedside lamps and unfortunately it didn't, meaning that you had to get out of bed to switch off the light, a small thing I know but really annoying. Aside from that we had a fabulous holiday. Some of the caravans are dog friendly (ours was as we had our two dogs with us). The site has lots of amenities being attached to the golf course including a restaurant and is ideally located to visit local attractions such as Waukworth Castle and Alnwick. Highly recommended.
