Never again. Dreadful food. Hard to go wrong with a breakfast you would imagine. Had to ask for my coffee to be transferred into a cup that I could lift. Rock hard, virtually cremated Rashers, poached eggs were hard. Add in the man whistling in the corner !!! No wonder the place was empty. I'll go elsewhere next time
Very nice cafe off the beaten track and away from the madness of the centre. Really nice cakes and offer dairy free alternative milks. Staff efficient and friendly.
The service is worse then terrible!! I sat down for few minutes with my 3 year old child waiting on my husband to come and meet me for a coffee when I was told that I had to leave the cafe' because the tables were for customers only I just want to highlight that there was only a very few customers in the Café and plenty empty tables the owner embarrassed me in front of other customers and staff and asked me to remove myself from the café even when I tried to explain that I was going to order in few minutes as soon as my husband arrived. I have never experience anything like it before and I just don't understand how someone like this person can own hospitality business..
I am new to Ireland and have enjoyed myself the last year I have been here. Meeting very nice people and experienced Irish culture. However today I must point out at this business I was treated very bad today by a very rude man, I hope he is not the owner. Me and my boyfriend stopped because my boyfriend wanted a latte and maybe something to eat. I was ok and was eating some pastry from my bag. When the man arrive my boyfriend ordered latte and then the man dropped his notebook hard on table turned to me and said to me in a very rude manner "You cannot eat that here" not deciding instead to politely explain sorry but this is a restaurant so you can not eat other food here. I thought it was ok because my friends and I have before eaten our own food at tables while the rest of us order food. It was only a small pastry so I do not understand why the man was so aggressive in his tone. It is not like I brought a full plate of food and my boyfriend was going to order food after latte but we decided to leave still being more polite than the man was. I hope this wasn't because I was not from Ireland, I am not saying he is racist but his rude tone was only towards me.
Place was completly empty. All chair were available. I took a seat, waiting for my daughter, which went next door in art shop. I AM 8MTHS PREGNANT. Older women which is working there came to myself and asked what I would like to order. I said, I am just waiting for my daughter and I won't order anythink and i said thank you. Women said, I cant use their chair then. I will say it was really unpleasant and rude. I am 8MTHS pregnant and I am not looking for special treatment, but all chairs were empty there. I wouldn't go for smallest piece of anything there ever. Really unpleasant staff.
Best cafè The staff is kind and the food is excellent
Advertises gluten free options but actually is very limited. Very nice friendly staff but not even one g f sauce. Doing their best under the circumstances
Nice place but I feel like staff rush me and they often don't have everything on the menu.
Very good food club sandwich was amazing also the Kona mocha was also very delicious hope to visit again
Handy place. Scone and coffee fine. Staff friendly. Not a fussy place. Quite calm.
