Amazing place. Lots of woodland to walk around and stretch your legs. Some steps and paths are tad steep but there other easier routes. It has Stunning views and a lovely lake with a small waterfall. Kids loved it, expecially the ducks. Free to visit although there is a £2 charge for parking. Will have to visit the cafe next time. Will definitely be back here again soon.
A great place to go for a woodland walk. Plenty of trails, foot bridges and small ponds plus a waterfall to explore. You can also enjoy a well earned cuppa in the coffee shop afterwards. Plenty of parking on site which costs £2 for the day. There are also toilets available.
Gorgeous woodland to explore for a half day or couple of hour's walk. Lots of trails off the main path to follow so it didn't ever get too crowded on the Sunday afternoon we visited. Most parts are shaded so it was a nice place to shelter from the sun and lovely to follow the stream most of the way along. Parking was only £2.
Such a beautiful place to visit made all the better for meeting these lovely lot, who not only stopped to show us sun spots in an incredible telescope but gave us so much information about the area. Volunteers keep this gem running so do stop off in the café to show support or donate so they continue the work they do. It wouldn't be so well kept without their love and devotion to these beautiful woods. Pause to take in the stunning views and get your feet wet in the refreshing waterfall.
Beautiful little spot - gardens and lake and a hidden waterfall just off junction 47 of M4. Cafe with outdoors seating and big bowls of fresh water for your dogs & a biscuit provided by lovely lady in cafe. Only downside was they only seem to sell cakes - no savoury or sandwich options. Cup of tea was nice though
A beautiful oasis of green and calm and water on the edge of Swansea. Lots of good trails to follow through the woods and areas to explore. Great for dogs, fun for children. Seek out stepping stones and waterfalls! A wonderful volunteer-run cafe with great cake and coffee! Your purchase in the cafe and payment for parking helps to fund this tranquil gem.
Had a lovely walk around the woodlands. Popular for dog walkers. Very well kept grounds and paths. Spent a few hours exploring all the paths.
Lovely and peaceful walk. I really enjoyed it. Great for dog walkers too. Nice little cafe. Friendly staff. Great waterfall.
Stunning woodland and a beautiful area to walk. Lots of different aspects to explore: woods, water, fields. The waterfall in particular was a highlight. There is ample place to park in the carpark and there are toilet facilities that are clean and well-kept.
Nice woodland area with plenty of trails and routes for people of all abilities, plus a nice small cafe which is brilliant for warm drinks in the winter etc. You forget how close you are to the M4 straight away when in these woods!
