The Penisar Mynydd Caravan Park is located within a tranquil, attractive rural position, set within the stunning Clwydian Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The site is to be found just 2 minutes from the main North Wales trunk road, the A55 (Junction 29), offering convenient access. Yet the site is set within pretty fields and wooded areas in a quiet secluded area.

Stayed for 6 nights with 2 dogs at Penisar, lovely rural location but not that far from places to visit. Showers and toilets clean.  We were on the field and was quiet until Friday night when campers arrived, however not a problem even though it was busy, would return. No dog walk on site but the roads leading to the site are quiet. Overall a lovely stay and would return.

Stayed here for a a few days, and it was fabulous. The customer service is great we where made to feel so welcome. The lady who greeted us she was warm and friendly. We enjoyed our stay, lovely views and it is so quiet. Not far from local village either for essentials. Dog friendly as our pooch loved the long walks around the lanes. Will be back again.

Just stopped here for two nights camping, lovely quiet site. Nice,clean facilities, very helpful friendly staff. All this at a bargain price of £20 per night for a large pitch with electric. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again.

Great site showers and toilets spotless park very well kept staff very helpfully and friendly  would highly recommend  to all ages
