A delightful , quirky, fabulous B & B. Judith makes you feel at home and better! A perfect get away, Honeymoon, or delight ful 'dirty weekend'! Couldn't be better for a writers block or 'base camp' for artists. Inspirations just floats in the air! I cannot say enough about this mad woman and her uttterly delightful oasis! Treat yourself, treat yourself, treat yoursel!!!

Where to begin...Judith has rewritten the B&B manual, many 5 star hotels could take a leaf out of her book! The house is stunning, superlatives just do not do it credit. Just walking in to the entrance hall makes you feel like it's been your home all your life; it really is that warm, welcoming and cosy. The staircase and tall window are beautiful, breathtaking even. Our room, The Pembroke Room, is just that from now on "Our room." I defy anybody to come up with anything lacking, every tiny detail to make your stay comfortable has been thought of beforehand. Not with that clinical hotel style so extensively found nowadays, but with personal notes from Judith that make staying in the room an unforgettable experience. Enough waxing lyrical though...Breakfast was great! Just the right amount and so tasty and fresh. The garden a sheer delight and the list of delights both large and small is endless; suffice to say, we were enchanted by our stay and were slightly sad on leaving. We shall be back. Thank you Judith, your home was ours for a brief time. A joy to have been there.

A stunning house, Judith welcomed us into her home and what a home it is. The B&B is stunning, Lovely garden & room (we stayed in the Burgundy room) Theres no specific parking outside owned by the b&b but we had no trouble parking on the street right outside after going out quite a lot to visit places I also believe there is a free car park right across the road although we didn't use it. To be honest I've only stayed in a travel lodge before now because its cheaper and I thought better I can safely say I'm wrong and would willingly pay the extra couple of pound for the personal touch and rooms offered at Penfro.

We had a thouroughly delightful stay at Penfro. The house and gardens are truly spectacular whilst still maintaining a warm and homely feel. Judith's welcome and breakfasts are way beyond expectation and we can garantee that you will leave feeling loved, pampered and well rested. There are many extra touches that are so thoughtfulll and charming it really takes by surprise. I could tell you about them all but it will spoil the delight you'll find on discovering them by yourself. We plan to revisit regularly as we enjoyed our stay so much. enjoy your stay!
