The batter is really crispy and the fish is excellent quality. The chips could have done with a few moments more if I'm being critical but that's only today, usually they're perfect. Best chippy for miles and miles

I've been going here for many years. Tonight I ordered Fish and Chips and curry sauce. I can honestly say it's the worst meal I've had in ages. The chips weren't cooked properly, the fish was tasteless and more batter than Fish. The curry sauce was absolutely disgusting, it was so thick and horrible taste. Cost me £9.50 and ended up in the bin. Very disappointed, won't be visiting again.
Best chippie in Penarth. Fish was cooked fresh, a fair portion size and was delicious. Staff are friendly, prices reasonable.
Dunno what is going on with people saying they are rude. We live very close by and these guys are very friendly. You will always see them chatting to the locals and regulars. Never seen them be rude to anyone. Great chip shop.
Great fish and chips from this takeaway, you will need to let the staff know when you arrive if you want fish or chicken so they can cook it fresh for you.

There service was very rude when I was served, the chips weren't cooked well, they gave us the wrong curry sauce we asked for and they forgot to bag an item we ordered. fishcakes we won't be going back there until they get more polite.

Good chips. Just a shame that the owner is exceptionally rude and has no customer service skills. I've decided not to go in anymore as every time I say hello/ask how he is, he just blanks me. The other guy who is usually more friendly also did this during the same visit. Any business should not be complacent about their success which is also an impression I get
