Visiting family from New Zealand. Heard this place was good to eat. Booked a table for last night, kids menu was great and my children enjoyed the food. Adults meals, cocktails and wine all very good, generous portions. The waiting staff were attentive and helpful. Well oiled machine indeed. Thank you
Had dinner here with my Son. Staff are all lovely and very helpful. Our food was delicious with great portion sizes. Very tasty food in a great setting. Apparently the Sunday carvery is excellent too.
Went for lunch. Advised by locals to go here as we had two pet dogs with us. Ourselves and the dogs we're made very welcome.nFor a donation dogs can play with a supply of dog toys and have a treat.nFood excellent and service brilliant.
I booked a table in the restaurant for evening meal. They were very busy but fitted us in. Service was excellent despite being choc a bloc with customers. The menu is extensive with good veggie options and reasonably priced. All in all a great experience.
Have to be honest, we were mildly disappointed. After hearing rave reviews, we thought we would try the Sunday Carvery. Very friendly staff and there was a wide selection of vegetables However, the roast potatoes were very rubbery and not crispy at all, the Yorkshire's, although giant, had no substance or flavour. Had we paid a little less for the meal then it would have been good value, but at this price, I expected better.
