Peking Garden has a welcoming ambiance - this comes from the interior, but also more importantly, from the staff. The food is very tasty, of good quality, and always arrives to the table piping hot - the best way to experience the flavours of Chinese cuisine. The service is excellent - quick and efficient, friendly, but not intrusive - allowing you to sit down, enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy the food! I highly recommend Peking Garden - this restaurant definitely provides the best Chinese food and dining experience in the area.

I am writing to complain with regards to the manager and his communication with your staff. I have been a regular customer at the Peking Garden for over 10 years and the language and dialect I heard from the manager tonight (17/03/2018) as I collected my order was absolutely outrageous. From what I gather from the incident a young female employer forgot a piece of information on the system when writing down an order. The male and older manager raised his voice and argued with her in a full restaurant and then said "just go and make this drink... NOW" To the manager I must ask the following of which I want an answer in full to every single one: Do you think it is justifiable to ask this way in front of customers? Do you think it is acceptable as a manager to speak with your staff in such a way? Considering this young female waitress is working to make a living at your restaurant - do you think that she is motivated, comfortable or happy in general within her work place? Finally, I would like to know that if your employer was male, would you talk to him in the same way as you did not show any form of respect at all. I personally think your attitude is hurrendous. Family, employee or stranger you must show respect, manners and understanding to every individual you come across. This is not what "should" happen between people but it MUST. This is how we speak with people and you showed the lowest form of human communication and it is shameful. After your appalling display of communication with your staff I think you really showed what you are really like as you most definitely did not consider your staff of customers, moreover you have now lost 12 frequent customers of the Peking Garden. I would like to know how you plan to proceed as a manager in the future and should I see in the future that your employee no longer works with you due to this email, it shows just how morally incorrect and inconsistent you are as a manager. We must remember that we work to make a living, of which we must respect and value those around us. Kind Regards, Lucy Ellis

Very disgusting. Food was cold and was very bland. No taste at all. You need to work on your customer service, the waiter was very rude and disrespectful. I would like to give you another chance but don't think I would want to eat there again. I do not recommend this restaurant. Also the tips I gave to the waiter was taken away and I find that very appalling, they deserve the tips as they work very hard for them. If I had a choice in giving it 0 stars I would because this place disgusts me!!

Food is always awesome just recommend a jumper as can be a bit cold.
