This place used to be lovely now it's cold I feel sorry for the staff it's too cold and portion sizes are tiny esp if you get the older lady 😏 you need to improve if you don't want to loose customers

Don't get the chicken anything. Chips are decent and fish is alright but a bit greasy. Portions are fine but the minimum size for it to be acceptable.

I'm only giving 1 star for the food itself (very average), if the food was any worse I'd be stating here that this place deserves a 0! 
This place used to be amazing. Whenever my family were visiting Leeds we would make the special trip to Rothwell to get fish and chips from here. We visited for the last time yesterday. The woman serving has always been lacking on the customer service (to put it mildly). But last night was the last straw. She's rude! No "Good evening" when you walk in. No " Goodbye" when you walk out. My mum paid and then held her hand out for the change, but The woman held it out for me, huffing as I was busy packing the carrier bag she had thrown over the counter after we requested one (dinner for 5 we had a fair bit to carry). Then we get home to discover portions of chips that would leave a mouse hungry! There was no queue, we were the only ones in there so it's not like we were holding anyone up.
With the distinct lack of customers I would have thought they'd appreciate the ones they'd got!
They've lost the semi-regular custom of a family of 9!
