Beautiful space. They have really improved over the years, being someone that grew up in Peckham and went to the original library across the road before this main one was built.... I wanted my daughter to feel safe here but how she when the cleaner a man comes into the toilet whilst I am in there. Sees me and continues walking in and women’s toilet. How can we as women feel safe when that allowed?
This library is wonderful!nBut upstairs there are always people that they usually sleep making noise and also they eat continuously. In particular there are always two or three people that they continue to do it although there is write that they cannot eat.nIt could be great if someone could monitor this annoying situation
The lady at the reception desk was very helpful. I was promptly dealt with, given all the support I needed. Saved me some money on scanning documents, so I left the library a happy person.
Well trained, articulated, and experienced staff are always at hand to usher you in if you really need help or attend to you promptly if you need a book or a help navigating around using the facilities available at the library.
