It's very sad Peacocks store is closed down in most of the towns . But good shop with lovely n friendly staffs. Clean n well organized. Only shop I could get summer shorts for my husband and used to love their sale time Thank you Good news is peacock is back a while ago. Sorry didn't had time to update. They got more and better choose this time
Not exactly my cup of tea, but if you're a twelve year old girl like my daughter, you may spend an inordinate amount of time in here. According to her, it's one of Market Harborough's best shops. So, I guess it depends on your point of view. There was a huge sale on when we went, if that makes a difference.
The clothes are basic and they have the same few sizes in for a long time and you can't order another into store without going online. I went in recently and had to deal with a miserable brat who was stony faced and rude. I could understand if she were on work experience but she works there and was utterly horrible. They have never had the best staff and the company as a whole seems to prefer grumpy rude staff to helpful friendly ones. I would rather pay a little more for nicer staff at New Look
I don't realy shop in peacocks as never have larger sizes and in between size as lost a bit of Wight .but. Wasent realy looking for any think in particular got my self a lovely summer dress and a lovely top in size 20 so was a happy the lady said they do larger sizes on the website though was a bit rude of her as that question wasn't asked my husband was completely taken back by her comment
wonderful staff, so helpful. Ok so its not Armani or Dior but way better value than any major brand and great service.
Always Chas a good range of clothes that are very good value for money.....but not good for anyone who likes labels rather than value clothing
