Food was really good, service very friendly. Sadly dessert, while delicious, took a very long time to arrive, which was unexpected and put pressure on family needing to get back to Surrey.Food: 5/5
Went on a Wednesday evening for dinner. Hadn't been for a few years, but apparently change ownership recently. The food and service is excellent and our waitress was lovely, really interacted with us. My only comment was the place is a bit tired, I understand its an old beamed building, but it needs a good refresh to bring it up to date, still using the old cutlery etc. So a bit of a 70s flashback. If they spend some money to do this it would be great. Portions good, food excellent and good value for money. Will definitely return, but please think about bringing it into the 21st century.

Excellent pub with amazing food, beer and service. I ended up having some steak and the chocolate fondant dessert. My companions had the burger and the chicken with mushroom sauce all to high praise. Having the Ludlow brewery beer on tap was also a welcome bonus! Would definitely come here again!
We took my mom for a meal at The Peacock for her 60th birthday and had a fabulous evening. The food was delicious and the staff are so friendly. All the starters were cooked to perfection scallops, chicken, goats cheese salad - and they serve Robinson’s cider which is always a bonus for us!
Been trying to get to this pub for ages and last Sunday got there. Well it was worth the wait. Customer service 10/10 we found the staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely warm atmosphere it's got a nice layout. We only stopped for one drink as we had other arrangements and that's why lve gave it 4 star but we've been told the food is fantastic so next time I give it a try.
Fantastic meal last night as always. Steak amazing all cooked to our liking. Would recommend to everyone. Pleasant staff can't do enough for you. Definitely go again. 5stars.
Absolutely fantastic meal. Steak was cooked to perfection. Nice helpful staff moved our table next to the fire. Never had a bad meal just gets better.
