Relaxed surroundings and very friendly staff. The surgery is impeccably clear and well looked after...which i think is very important. The customer service is excellent and all medical staff are brilliant. I no longer dread a trip to the dentist.

Having been a patient of PDC dental for over 6 years, I was excited to move to the sparkly new premises in Barnsley town centre. Wow! If you didn't know you were attending a dental appointment you seriously wouldn't know you were in a dentist surgery. Waiting in a relaxed, tranquil setting and receiving the usual outstanding patient experience from Mandy on reception to Laura the worlds best dental hygienist and whitening specialist to Alex and the rest of the team. PDC dental take time to understand you as a patient, explain in clear terms the options available and then deliver a high level of service using the best equipment and products available. For first class, high level dentistry that won't break the bank; think no further than PDC Dental. Angie Wilson

It is total pleasure to write this review ,I had been told my own Dentist that I would have no alternative but to have dental implants at the lower right back after having problems with 2 teeth .I visited 3 other Dental practices that provided this procedure , I wasn't happy with the other practices. Upon researching I came across PDC in Penistone and Barnsley, my first initial contact was with the extremely helpful receptionist Mandy I immediately felt at ease I felt her approach was wonderful very compassionate to my dental anxiety ,very professional but with huge empathy too something that other practices lack in greatly . I had my consultation with Alex in December I was dreading it but I had no reason to Alex is a true  professional his down to earth approach was ideal for me he advised me on what needed doing he explained everything in great detail to me . I found Alex to be very reassuring especially as I do have a degree of dental anxiety ,I am extremely holistic and felt very at ease using my techniques of tapping and meditation in front of him. I started my treatment in March my anxiety was high on the morning of my first appointment which was 2 extractions and 2 implants in at the same time , Mandy was outstanding on my arrival as was the practice manager Ann, both very reassuring to me I felt nervous but again could show this with no embarrassment . My procedure was straight forward Alex and the wonderful Dental Nurse Chelsea who was a constant reassurance to me and helped me throughout the appointment Chelsea showed great empathy to me from start to finish excellent Nurse . I took a couple of days off work the worst part was I had to miss the gym for a few days ,the healing started I had my second appointment for the impressions something I truly dread but again Alex and Chelsea outstanding, they worked around my fears of having the impression tray in my mouth choking gagging etc true professionals they are . I have been seen a couple of times by Mike as I was always worried about an infection he is equally as reassuring and was seen the same day no infection was ever present . I am really looking forward to the final fit I would highly recommend this practice to anyone totally professional friendly and compassionate something I found very hard to find , Thank you to everyone at PDC outstanding team . After years of being paranoid and refusing to visit the dentist ~ finally had to go ~ got appointment with Tom (Alex and Laura's dad) who couldn't have been nicer and gentle with me.  Has changed my fear of dentists.  So now happy to go ~ Alex and Laura are brilliant.  So thank you P.D.C. Give  a 5 for today's treatment and all the other visits. (Hope I haven't rambled on too much)

Having been a patient for 3years,I find all the staff very friendly and professional.I like the new premises,very central in Barnsley with parking quite close. I see Alex,also Laura(hygienist),both friendly and very professional . There is up to date equipment and I trust them completely in their work ...implants and crowns. I had an emergency and it was sorted quickly Score 5 out of 5 Carol
