WARNING!!! I have a severe nut allergy and explicitly relayed this on the call. The associate checked with the chef to confirm order was ok with NO NUTS!! This was confirmed and the order placed. On arrival, the food was divided up and I took my dishes. I tasted it and on putting it down saw cashew nuts floating in the top. I contacted the restaurant who confirmed I’d been given the wrong dish......which meant there were also peanuts in my dish. I contacted the restaurant and no manager available. I eventually had a call back from a manager who offered my a free replacement!! ARE YOU KIDDING!!! I’m reporting this restaurant to the Food Standard Agency Abd Environmental Health. I completely understand that people make mistakes....but you can’t play with peoples lives like that and shrug it off with an apology or free dish.

They brought me the wrong food and when I called back to ask for the correct meal they told me they would send it but I'd have to pay the driver again. They then laughed at me down the phone. Spent £20 on nothing in the end because I don't eat the meat they brought me.

AWFUL. When food arrived one dish was not remotely what we ordered, which I wouldn't have minded if it had been tasty, I'm not fussy, but it did not taste good at all. The other dishes we ordered were also very poor quality, so all in all we decided to ask for a refund. We called the restaurant straight away and the owners told us to keep the food for the driver to collect, which we did. Two hours later a man turns up with a refund for half of the order, beligerantly argued with us and asked me to pick food out of the bin to prove we had not eaten it. In the end we had to take the order back to the restaurant ourselves. We were fed some lies about not being able to issue refunds even though we'd paid in cash, we'd have to talk to hungry house, but Hungry house clearly says for cash orders refunds are dealt with directly by the restaurant. They also accused us of eating half of the food which we hadn't as it was not pleasant at all. We eat a few mouthfuls before we decided it was not acceptable and called the restaurant. They actually expected me to pick the small amount of food that we'd scraped off our plates out from my kitchen bin to prove I had not eaten it. The next day they cancelled the order on hungry house to prevent us from leaving feedback and to avoid paying their commission to hungry house, even though they kept our money. Awful people. Awful food. For the sake of keeping ten quid from us it was an absolute fars. On boxing day as well. We feel utterly cheated by the effort they put in to keeping our money after delivering such sub-quality food.
