From our first phone contact Paula made it clear that she and her team would do everything they could to look after both my mum and me at what was obviously a difficult time. She was good to her word. She was professional, empathetic and immensely helpful. I would like to thank everyone at P. Walsh for helping me ensure my mum received the send off she wanted and deserved. I highly recommend this family run business, they will look after your loved one and you.

There are no words enough that express our heartfelt thanks . My first contact was emotional and difficult but Paula made me feel so at ease .She was patient, kind and understanding . She wanted to listen to me and get to know about my beautiful mum that we had so suddenly lost . My brother and I were treated with care , concern and attention at all times . They made the entire process of making difficult decisions easier and we were not rushed at any time . Due to the circumstances the funeral was delayed a while and yet we were given absolute reassurance that our Mum was in the best care . Even though she had passed , she was still treated with dignity and consideration . We were able to visit the chapel of rest without restrictions at all and on the final resting day , Paula called me to reassure me that morning all was in place and as we wanted. Obviously finances are often an issue when a loved one died , yet again Paul Walsh and his team exceeded all expectations and never pushed to have the money up front, their concern was for my family and my late mother . Many many thanks Paul and team for making such a terribly hard time so much easier for us . Emma & Chris ( late Jacqueline Goss)

Losing a loved one in itself is a great time of grieving, arranging a funeral and making so many important decisions is emotionally draining and stressful, but having made my first job to select a Funeral Director the burden was lifted and the support fantastic from the onset. A big and sincere Thank You to Paul & Paula Walsh of Paul Walsh Independent Family Funeral Directors, 70 Wilton Park Rd, Shanklin, PO37 7BU. The devotion shown to us was invaluable, efficient, and highly personal. I recognise your compassion, thoughtfulness and truly fantastic support. More people should know about your services so they too can learn there are options to use smaller family run services, and not just the larger organisations.
