Brownies in this store are the best in the world! The day I went was Tuesday, but it was a shame because it was a regular holiday. I wanted to do shopping.
Will go to the other location. Went I go to the location soon. The best chocolate I enjoy.
The staff don’t seem very happy to be there, or have you in the shop. When trying to make a decision on which truffles to buy, I asked the lady serving us what she’d recommend. She mumbled back, “I like the booze ones”, and that was that. It‘s a shame, because buying chocolate is supposed to be a really fun experience. It is to me, anyway. The products are fab and I would definitely come back for more, hopefully with friendlier service next time.
I wrote in google "Best luxury chocolates: the finest gourmet, handmade selections" i tried to order online but all sold-out.. guys keep the hard work up.. hope the best to you
Awful company, ‘packing which will occur shortly after your purchase’ is 24 days after ordering. I allowed my order to arrive as I wanted the chocolates then asked for a refund. I got a very argumentative email telling me this was ‘bad faith’. They have been reported to Trading Standards due to discretions under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. It’s such a shame as the chocolates are very palatable.
After visiting the shop in Angel yesterday, I'm really not surprised that the business is struggling. Not many truffles left on display - they had about third of their selection. Not sure if they had any more at the back because I was never served. After 30 mins wait outside in the rain, I gave up and left still being 5th in line. 3 people working there, only 1 serving customers while the other 2 packed online orders just watching customers getting more and more frustrated. The girl serving was extremely slow, every time a customer was buying truffles, she needed to put a box together - can they not be prepared in advance to speed things up?!!! Once truffles were in the box, she would put everything through on the till and take a payment. Why can't there be one person on the till so she can serve next customer straight away?!!!!! Week before Christmas and such a waste of time! If you charge customers such riddiculous money for your product, at least learn how to provide a good service it will help your business too. Now I'm taking my money elsewhere.
Lovely selection of well made chocolates with a range of inventive flavours to choose from.
Lovely experience. I picked up a gift box of truffles and some brownies for my partner and me, and was taken aback by the service. The woman serving was happy to offer recommendations and to chat away with me endlessly about chocolate. The presentation of everything I got was superb: the truffles themselves, the gift box, the bag, instructions for storing the chocolates if they survive the night and a handwritten 'key' telling you which of your truffles are which. It all felt very special. Perfect for gift shopping. To the chocolate: the truffles were all very tasty - delicate, distinct and interesting. The Bakewell Tart and Persian Spice truffles were probably my favourites, though I can see why their Sea Salted Caramel is so acclaimed. The Tobacco Caramel I picked up in a fit of pique was very interesting, and definitely worth a try. The brownies didn't stand out terribly for me, despite rave reviews. They're certainly very rich and chocolatey, though thankfully not to the point of being sickly, but I just felt like something was missing from them somehow. All in all very impressed, and will certainly be going back for another box of truffles before too long!
My favourite hot chocolate — rich, thick, and delectable just chocolate, no milk, like it should be. Also excellent chocolate bars of various origins mmm Solomon Islands, and delicious truffles.
I love this shop, the chocolate is delicious. Such a great selection of taste and flavours. The staff are really great at what they do, very helpful. In general a good place to spend money in. After all you get to leave with chocolate.
