Splendid service- ordered a selection of breakfast bagels, baps and croissants. The food was great, reasonably priced and delivered for free. A shame they were late with the delivery, which is the only thing that's lost a star, as it was a short meeting and a bit awkward waiting. I'm sure it was a one-off but still very impressed overall.
We used Beani Bar for the first time today to cater for a working lunch. The main reasons I chose them were for ease of their website navigation, wide variety of menu choices and that they were so willing and able to accommodate at what was probably a bit late for such a big order. Delivery was earlier than expected as opposed to most places usual lateness. And the standard and quality was impeccable. Great food and lots of good feedback from the team. I'm not sure how far it travelled but for the Humus to still be so perfectly spiced is great in my books. Will definitely use them again!
Firstly, breakfast arrived 50 minutes late and I did not receive an apology. The food itself was very average considering the price. Bagels were stale and the fillings did not match the description on the website The mozzarella & sundried tomato bagel was actually cheddar and tomato. The amount of filling in each bagel was disappointing and even the presentation left a lot to be desired. The food quite clearly had not been prepared fresh in the morning - genuinely tasted like leftovers from the day before. Thankfully it was ordered for an in house meeting - serving this to clients would not have been an option. Very very disappointing overall. Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again!
We've had Beani Bar cater two events for our organisation in the past and both of those experiences were excellent. The quality of the food is fantastic - very fresh, very tasty, very reasonably priced. However the quality of the service is the thing that sets Beani Bar aside. They were exceptionally easy to work with, worked with us closely to identify the best menu options, and were very flexible with amendments on the day of the event. Highly highly recommend.
This has been my go-to lunch spot for a while. It can get quite busy during lunch time but their paninis and sandwiches are worth it. The bread they use is very nice and tastes fresh and the toppings are well balanced. I like their coffee too, although they didn't seem to use frothed milk in the latte, which was a bit disappointing. The inside is quite small with limited seats. The staff could be friendlier at times. Even if it is quite busy I get the feeling that they are unnecessarily pushy and it's quite hectic.
Very poor. Food hygiene rating of 3 out of 5 should have convinced me to avoid, however gave them the benefit of the doubt - and wish I hadnt. Asked for 2x bacon and egg rolls. They took 20 mins to make, and came without the egg. I told them this, they apologised and took and 15 minutes frying 2x eggs. When it finally arrived correct, the bacon and egg were cold anyway. Only ate half of 1 roll. My colleagues had the large breakfast, which all 3 of them said was cold and was disgusting too. Avoid like the plague and go over the road to Greggs. Would have voted 0 stars if I could.
Our office has a monthly 'bacon breakfast Thursday'. After being disappointed by our local delis they served us Turkey bacon! Just not right!, I decided to look else where. Do you know how difficult it is to find a place that delivers normal bacon roll? You'll find plenty of the really fancy 'imported bacon lightly grilled and served on a bed of watercress on a foccacia bread' type of places but sometimes, only a very simple bacon roll would do the job. I was ready to give up and the last one I checked was Beani Bar. The menu seemed limited but I phoned anyway. Spoke to a great guy named Joe his cafe as it turned out and he was so friendly and so accommodating, I had to give it a try. He promised everything would be freshly made on the day and delivered on time. He wasn't kidding. It arrived at 9:30am and the delivery girl was very friendly. The platters looked AMAZING! The fact that it came on a platter instead of greasy paperbags was a plus. My office was actually so impressed and this was just breakfast! Some of the quotes: 'Please don't make this guy angry, ever, this was great!' 'It was so nice to come to work to REAL BACON!' 'The eggs are actually soft and not hard!' 'I can chew the bread...that's nice.' I am really happy I finally found a breakfast place that can deliver quality breakfast for our monthly ritual. I can't wait to try out the other options! Not suitable if you don't eat pork. They use the same boards and knives with pork/nonpork,and they make the bacon well done to order using the sandwich toaster. They wash the coffee filters with the same sponge as the plate from the bacon. TBH I wouldn't trust anything that is not from a sealed packet/bottle. Staff friendly and do their best to remember the regulars and their orders.
The best deli in the area! I absolutely love this place for the quality and fresh food! They can also make everything as you want it, for a reasonable price and have a student discount as well!
First and last time. Breakfast clearly microwaved to oblivion yet still came cold. Bacon not even fried.
