Really enjoyed catching up with a friend at Patisserie Valerie today. I had a tasty wrap and my friend had the soup which she liked. We were having such a good time chatting we stayed and had more tea and cakes! I ordered a red velvet cake while my friend opted for the baked cheesecake. Both were delicious! They were big portions and we both intended saving a piece to take home... however they were so yummy we ate it all! A really great cafe to sit in and relax with friends.
Staff lovely, but the food disappointing. Nipped in for a quick lunch midweek. Not busy, but it was not quick. Veggie all day brekkie and chicken sandwich both pretty flavourless TBH. Pretty pricey for what you get too comparing with other places with similar menu options. Wont be back, are better places.Food: 1/5
Terrible food. Feeling robbed. You pay nearly £9 for a so called 'jambon beurre' and then you get the thinnest of ham slices in some stake bread as shown in the photo . My son's salmon sandwich wasn't any better. Hardly any salmon in the sandwich. A complete ripoff!
I took a millefeuille and a chocolate cake takeaway which cost nearly 12£. The base of the millefeuille was all soggy and the pastry that is meant to be crunchy is wet and tastes not fresh at all. The chocolate cake is very very dry from inside and it does taste like very old and it's been sitting in the fridge for so long. I am not happy at all with the quality of what I bought specially that is really expensive compared to other cake places. Really disappointed
We ordered 2 cakes and a coffee. The Black Forest and the Double Chocolate. Both were pretty decent and I'd order them again.Food: 4/5
Overly waited to be seated then sat for 10 mins and not served - used to be my go to when I visit the Silverburn so it’s shame I won’t be going there again! Noticed they have different staff on than last time perhaps that’s the problem as it was not busy..Service: 1/5
Did the takeaway today. Bought Carrot cake and pumpkin latte cakes. Both were as hard as rock. Really disappointed
Had a wonderful time and high tea for my Mum's 91st birthday. Special thanks to Catalina and the other members of staff for making it so memorable
First time visiting and it definitely did not disappoint. The customer service was to a standard that is lacking in most places! We were served by Rachel, after we asked her name as her knowledge of coffee was second to none and made for a very memorable and enjoyable first visit. We will certainly be back!
Top marks lovely afternoon tea great food great staff really enjoyed the variety of food cakes second time here will come back .
