The service was ok but not brilliant. We were not told much information about the afternoon tea and what was included. The sandwiches where lovely and scones but the desserts could have been improved. Overall the experience was good but not fantastic. I would go again
Patisserie Valerie, Leeds: This was my first experience of afternoon tea and I thoroughly enjoyed it, the atmosphere was very relaxed, the place was clean and professional and the service was terrific. I purchased a voucher from Buyagift for this experience and it was very affordable, around £15 if I remember correctly, I wasn’t aware that it came with drink refills which was a nice surprise. The sandwiches were delicious, we went with the vegetarian option which had a egg, cheese and pepper selection, the quality was very high. The scones were delicious, I wasn’t expecting hot scones so when they came and were complemented perfectly by the jam and the cream I was very impressed. The sweet desserts were very rich, my favourite had to be the carrot cake. In terms of drinks, the hot chocolate was delicious and the tea was on point. The macaroons were nice however, whilst I was tasted them I couldn’t help but to compare them with the ones that I tried at @h4lo_cafe which were by far the best I’ve had in a while. Overall an amazing experience that I would highly recommend. Thank you @patisserievalerie More reviews @explorewithkash
Absolutely loved this place. Mum and I celebrated her 80th birthday here. Szylvia looked after us, serving a beautiful array of sandwiches, scones and cakes. All very fresh and tasty. When we were leaving I mentioned that it was mum's birthday and the lovely manager let her choose a piece of cake from their delicious selection. I got the deal on Groupon and it was a lovely treat for mum. She also got a brief history lesson on Valerie's. We boxed up what we couldn't eat for the kids to enjoy at home.
Good coffee and cozy small place. Quick service. I tried the raspberry tart and the latte. The tart was so good and the latte as well. I saw everyone trying the afternoon tea It should be good,I definitely need to try it next.
Staff = amazing ! Went in today with my partner and Daughter and the young man with the long hair and beard was fantastic with her and helped her choose cake and chatted about her drawing. Very friendly and lovely cakes. Above and beyond with his service. Many thanks.
Visited for an Afternoon Tea, and I highly recommend it! Great staff, amazing presentation and it was all FAB-U-LOUS in my grandmas words, I highly recommend this as a stop on a trip to LeedsFood: 5/5
Went today for afternoon tea, would Def recommend. A very good portion of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.
Great variety of cakes... Always crowded and small shop but the staff are nice and fast... U have to try it... After 6 years I want to change my mind about this shop.. With corona events and everything is online I ordered 3 big cakes for delivery.. All of them came to me broken and broke my heart and ruin my occasions. And when I contacted them they respond send your complain again I can't believe it I'm so sad
Delicious afternoon tea made even better with the two delightful members of staff on duty! Tyrone and The Manager.Food: 5/5
Came here to use our voucher for afternoon tea. The voucher wasn’t working but the manager Viki helped us and we were able to enjoy our voucher. During our afternoon tea we were told we could have unlimited drinks, the cakes were lovely, the manager and her staff were very accommodating to us. We all had a lovely time and can’t thank you enough x Kid-friendliness: We got a cup of tea for our 2 year old which came with a cute little cup. The manager also made her a little babyccino.
