I did my Russian Lip with Manisha. She is a very nice lady, very professiona too, and the treatment didn't hurt at all. She has a magic hand. If you want to do your lip, I highly raccomanded to ask for her.
AMASING service! Staff put you at ease and are super friendly. All covid health and safely in places so reassuring. I go regularly for hair removal, which Parkside are accredited for an frankly best in the business! Waxing/ Brow Treatment/ Mani + Pedi's I look fab too when they have finished with me! I cannot rate this place enough. Sharon and the team go out of their way to help you achieve your treatment goals. I’ve had many electrolysis treatments here face, arms, chest, stomach, back, as well as an advanced electrolysis treatment to remove a mole & a couple of skin tags. The results I had for both treatments in a short amount of time are staggering. Friends and even a masseuse have complimented me jealously on my now smooth skin totally unaware of my treatments. My skin is now hair and tag free, no scarring. It’s made such a big difference to my confidence. I went from super hairy arms to hair free in just 3 treatments. This is the best salon, they’re qualified experts in electrolysis and permanent hair removal. I’ve been to a Harley Street clinic and the results didn’t compare, it made it worse. I recommend Parkside and the team, they’ll take such great care of you. Seriously, the treatments have changed my life for the better. Wish I’d found this place earlier.
I regularly get my electrolysis done by Svitlana, she’s very warm & friendly, has always looked after me! Very pleased with the results : If you’re looking to get electrolysis done, this is the place. Only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars is because of the limited number of staff. If you book an appointment in advance and your electrolysis therapist is unavailable that day, no other staff can cover that appointment, you’ll have to rebook the appointment for a different date.
Over the years that I used this centre for electrolysis, many lovely therapists and committed, hard work staff, made me feel at ease and delivered good results. However, when a new therapist did a treatment on me, I was left with adverse effects and scratch-like marks, which looked awful. When I brought this up to the manager, i was asked to provide proof. To her credit, she offered 15 minutes of free treatment, but it felt like a battle to be compensated for. There is a high turnover of therapists, many of whom look very unhappy in their roles. As others have mentioned, the manager Sharon is quite the character. I think genuine kindness and politeness are excellent skills to master but are not apparent with this lady. Very condescending and arrogant. I am delighted to take my money elsewhere to a service with consistent staff who does not cause adverse effects on people's skin. My experience was the same as the reviewer below regarding "cat like scratches' and a new therapist.
I’ve visited Parkside Beauty to get electrolysis on my facial hairs for a year now. The service has always been great: warm and friendly! Sharon is truly an expert at what she does and has so much passion. I’m really pleased with my results. They’ve recently invested in a new piece of kit which is more powerful and makes the process slightly less painful!
I’ve spent >£6.000 on Eletrolysis with Parkside. 2 years later, my hair growth is 100% of what it was before I started. Having said that, the customer service is very good and the ladies that do the treatment are lovely
UPDATE: the team eventually got back to me 5 months after this all happened after seeing my review and offered me a session as compensation for my experience. I missed the session because of incorrect booking on my part and they did not charge me for it. I have amended my rating since I appreciate them getting in touch and being helpful about the experience. I’ve been going to Parkside beauty for electrolysis for…wow, almost 6 years now. So I’d say I finally have enough experience with them to write a review lol. The 2 stars I gave are because at the end of the day, they did remove my hair, and also for the kind staff! The reason I recommend going elsewhere is because of 1. their response when I complained about poor service ignored me and 2. crazy variation in service quality depending on who you go to. Not only is each practitioner different, but each tech’s quality of service varies over sessions. There is 0 quality assurance. I outline my experience below. My second-to-last session I went with a tech I had never tried before. I had virtually no scabbing with one tech and I almost always scab so next time I decided to go back to her, I knew something was off. The way she was inserting the needle felt different to what I’m used to. After the session I had scabs so LONG ?! they looked like cat scratches and even bruising. I called to complain, they told me to email. I did so and provided pictures AND followed up with a call a few days later and radio silence. I think that was in march. That was the last time I ever went. I totally would have gone back to them if they had acknowledged my complaint but have moved on to a more professional clinic and it’s worth the extra money.
This is a really friendly beauty salon. Svetlana is a brilliant therapist and really takes care of you. Highly recommended. A real find in Holloway - opposite Paradise Park. Linda on reception is also very helpful and efficient.
