How to find the words? This special place embraced my Nana with open arms.nIt was so difficult for us as a family to watch Nana grow weaker and eventually need to go into care. We were all really apprehensive about the kind of care she might receive, after an unsuitable placement, she was transferred to Parklands and it turned out to be the best move! Parklands went above and beyond!nSo many of the staff touched Nans life in such beautiful and unique ways, whether it be little chats and laughs, dancing with her, engaging her in activities or caring for her personal needs with such kindness, dignity and gentleness.nThe last week of Nana’s life was incredibly tough, but the care staff did everything they could to make her final days as comfortable as possible, while also looking after us as a family.nThey are such a lovely team, and will always be grateful for the compassion they showed Nana and all of us, especially in that final week of her lifenI miss Nana so much, but I’m so very thankful she got to be part of a community like Parklands, and that she made some lovely friends there too.nThank you for loving our Nana so well
My mother WP has been in Samuel House at Parklands Court for 7 years almost. Her care has been first class and the staff have always been pleasant and knowledgeable and approachable. She always looks clean, well presented and during difficult times they are always there for her full time care needs. It is reassuring to know that she is in a safe place and well looked and gives me full peace of mind. Well done to all who care for her and look after Parklands.
Highly recommended care home, Staff and management is very committed towards their work they provide excellent quality of care to the residents, the units are very clean and always fresh food is provided to the residents. They give warm welcome to their visitors as well as vast variety of activities are available for the residents.
The level of care and compassion shown by the Staff at Parklands is without a doubt of the highest standard. My Gran was a resident of Samuel House from November 2018 til July 2019 when she sadly passed. Professional staff always providing excellent care with my Grans dignity always on their agenda. It’s never an easy decision to have to place a loved one into a nursing facility. Parklands took away any needs for worry or concern. She was treated like family and this was a huge worry taken from the whole family. Knowing she was in excellent hands when we couldn’t always be there. Thank you to each and everyone one of you for all you did. May my Gran Alice now rest in peace
I just wanted to say 'Thank you' to all the staff of Harrison House who looked after my mom at the end of her life. I could not have asked for anything more. You were all so kind and caring.nnNothing was too much trouble; from basic nursing care to the love and attentiveness shown that was obvious to us as a family. The house manager and staff went above and beyond in mom's care. Spending time just holding her hand when we were not around. That was heartwarming, knowing mom had such contact.nnMom was only with you for a short while but you all treated her like she was your own family. Thank you all again from our whole family.
