Wonderful, very clean area, well maintained paths, beautiful variety of plants, some of the walks could be sign posted better, there are some more accessible walks if you have mobility issues.nPleanty of different car parks, but bare in mind the car park you choose may vary the immediate accessibility of the walks so I'd advise you pick your carpark based on rhe walk you choose.nDog friendly just clean up after your pets.nThere are bins at key points throughout the park as well as park benches and picnick tables.nThis park is tended with the help of Park Hall Friends who help clean the area and maintain its splendid atmosphere.
It is a beautiful country park with an array of interesting natural features and man made features. Lakes, quarries, woodland and a visitor centre. Sadly the visitor centre is rarely open if ever and this has now become the domain of dog walkers, which is fine, apart from some of them seem to think it’s fine for their sometimes rather large dogs to come running up to you and jump up you.nIf you cannot call your dog back or keep it under control it should be an a lead at all times!nStill a great place to visit though, especially some of the lesser visited areas!
Dog friendly and off lead. Much bigger than it looks at first and we got lost so best to keep an eye on your route or directions back to car. Free parking. There are some route markets but they are not all that frequent and don't have directions so you can go back on yourself.
Good to walk and to watch city view in a forest , but But it looks like an abandoned place, very neglected
Pleasant area for a walk. Toilets only sometimes unlocked and very basic hence 3 stars...
