Referred here after months of agony with decaying wisdom teeth and being passed around different dentists without anything being done for the severe pain - hands down the absolute best practice I have ever been to. All of the staff were incredibly understanding, kind and took my pain seriously, from the friendly receptionist to the lovely nurse, and the absolute angel of a Dentist who went above & beyond to make me feel comfortable, managing to take out my wisdom tooth to get me out of unbearable pain for the first time in months. Thank you all for your help.
Quick appointment professional never felt any pain. Had a phobia all my life. Definitely recommend this business. Visited today 6th October.
About a month ago I took my 2-year-old son to this dentist to have his teeth looked at. Upon arrival we were met with a snotty ignorant receptionist who looked down her nose at anyone who came in, we were told to wait and we would be seen to soon… 40 minutes later and a frustrated tired 2-year-old he was finally seen to only to be told by the dentist that he should have been sent up a half an hour before!! After finally having his check-up which was 2 minutes, we were told he will be getting a referral to the dental hospital to have some teeth removed. 2 weeks later and a child still in pain waiting for teeth to be taking out and we hear nothing so I decided to ring the dental hospital and ask if he had been referred. Apparently not and according to the dental hospital a child referral would be there straight away so I rang this dentist to see what was happening and apparently one was never sent so they decided to take this up. Few days still nothing, dental hospital still haven’t received a referral either so I ring park view AGAIN to be told “yes SHE has been referred” erm he’s a boy which would clearly be on the records so we were lied to. Now today I have rung the dental yet again and they still haven’t received nothing!! I am frustrated and very angry that my poor baby has been suffering for a month all because they don't know how to do their job properly and just lie! Never came across a dentist like it absolutely disgusting the way they go about things and the way they treat people. Don't recommend at all!! And park view dental please don't waste your lies on replying to this on how 'sorry' you are because it's complete bull. If I could give 0 stars I would
Love this dentist. Wish it was my local. We were sent here for an emergency appointment for my daughter and they couldn't have made us feel more comfortable. There was no wait time, reception staff and dentists themselves are lovely. They were so patient. Thankyou so much
Great dental surgery the girls on reception are always welcoming and will go over and above to help you out. I came in with severe swelling and toothache and was seen too straightaway that's what you call excellent customer service! Never had a bad experience in the 35 + years registered here. Wouldn't go elsewhere top team.. top people
Attended twice, both emergency appointments. The reception staff and dentists are brilliant. I would definitely recommend if you are a nervous patient, they certainly put you at ease
Highly recommended. After feeling pain for last 5/6 weeks and unable to take it anymore rang park view, after registration with the very helpful lady on reception she arranged for matt the dentist to call me. Matt called and was very helpful and professional, he arranged for me to attend the surgery with in half an hour of the call to get the tooth treated, he completed a full mouth inspection and took an xray for the tooth that was giving me the pain, he give me a few options on what was best for me for the future and took the tooth out. Matt and the team at this surgery or fantastic and really do treat they patients really well. Thanks very much to all of you.
The only reason I haven't giving this a 5 * is because its so hard to get an appointment. My children are not scared of this dentist due to the friendly staff
Echoing a review from another person, the dentists themselves are lovely but the reception staff are horrendous. A lady with dark her and a big wide smile, usually wears red lipstick I've found to be particularly the worst. I have been known to be stood waiting for the staff to finish their conversation before you can speak to them, otherwise theres a lot of attitude and sass like I'm a nuisance and ruining their conversation. If it wasnt the closest dentist to me I'd leave immediately. With proper customer care training for those ladies it could be a really lovely place of business.
My son32yrs had work done seven days ago. Following which his tooth ache got steadily worse to the point of openly crying with pain. Contacted practice for a follow up emergency appointment to be told none were available. Following visits to Local A &E Hospital who wouldn't help as it was dental matter he finally attended an emergency dentist in Kenton for treatment. Pain continued and second visit to QE hospital was fruitless and would not prescribed pain killers. Finally we returned to park view and waited until seen where my son was given temporary fillings under Injection. We attended again late today to get a strong pain killer for pain relief to be told that they could not prescribed pain killers which must be done by our local doctor. We eventually went to the local walk in clinic some hours later to be told by the NHS doctor that they could not and would not prescribe pain killers for dental matters and it was clearly in the remit of the dentist to prescribe medication. He went on to show us evidence that the dentist should prescribe the required medication. My son has been on a very very painful journey as a direct result of the actions of this practice and has been given little or no help with no duty of care from this dental practice. Who should hang their heads in shame for his shabby treatment.
