Great yard sale fundraiser. So many items to check out!
I always have liked this church . Clean calm. Feels good to be here. Prayers are soothing. Carol singing is cheerful.
I love this church. We go almost every Sunday - we had my daughter baptized here. The church is well taken care of , there are a lot of programs here and things for babies/kids which is nice. We switched from st Peter's to here and are so much happier at this church and the way we are looked at and treated by the congregation and the priests themselves
We go to this church every Sunday from last 5 years. We get breakfast rarely for 8am mass. Peaceful and interior is worth watching.
A beautiful place of worship, I had a very positive experience meeting so many nice people having gone through the R.C.I.A. program. Father Murray is a wonderful and kind man, as is Father Glen! Yana and my sponsor Angie taught me a great deal about the Catholic faith and were very welcoming and caring. I don't know why initially there was a 1 star rating on my behalf, it was NOT my doing! I have nothing but excellent things to say about this church and the congregation who welcomed me there.
During this tough time of isolation it was very nice and uplifting to celebrate the sacrament of baptism for Lincoln. Thank you Father Pio from the bottom of our hearts welcoming us safely into the Church.
I can see the love of Christ gradually flowing from brethren thanks to Debbie the Pastoral Minister who's 24/7 ready to hold my hands from the many years challenges. She has given me the reason to remain faithful to Christ.
What can you say about a church like St Michal's and a leader like Fr Murray. A small background on me As catholic raised person my faith and my spirituality was and is a very important part of my life and upbringing. Like many in society I drifted in and out of attending church on a regular basis. My home parish was St Anne's in St Thomas. I never lost my Christianity nor my deep rooted beliefs but stopped attending for many different reasons. As my life included a wife and children it became more apparent that something important was missing in my life. My church. The woman I married had no faith, no spiritual background and was not supportive of attending church with me but allowed me to introduce praying to our children which was a blessing to me as it gave the boys and I a closeness that will exist forever. For several reasons my marriage of 20 yrs failed. My boys and I were devastated when she walked out but our evening prayers and belief in each other gave us strength. There was a great burden that was lifted off of me as I was suddenly free to attend church and take my boys without the scrutiny of the "wasting a Sunday" speach. Choosing St Michael's as my new home parish was the best thing I could have done. Meeting Fr Murray was and is one of the most incredible moments of my life and not because of the above described events and the pain that went with it but because of who this man of god is, and what he is all about. He immediately reminded me of the pastor I grew up with in St Thomas, Fr Pat. It was the best time of my life growing up, our church was full of song and spirituality and had such a dynamic leader that it was a joy going. Fr Murray is just like that, my new parish is full of song and spirituality and man can Fr Murray sing! As well, so many of the parishioners are now a part of my Sunday family the reason for comfortable and open celebration of my faith, which, I lovingly share with my boys who also look forward to going to church like I did as a boy. The congregation is mostly reserved prior to the start of mass, we are all praying and prepairing for celebration so quiet reflection is the norm. Once mass begins so does the singing and outward expression of faith with participation of mass, it is such a warm fuzzy hug I can't explain how wonderful it feels. Once the service over and as people peacefully make there way out, there is always smiles and greetings exchanged. You can also find Fr Murray or Fr Glen at the doors shaking the hands of everyone leaving and exchanging short stories of kind remarks. Those are my opinions but I invite you to come and form your own, I doubt you will be disappointed but remember to bring your singing voice with you Mark
I come here for the funeral services of my mother's catholic friends. We just said goodbye to the sweetest man I ever met. RIP Mike. Now you and Betty are finally reunited.
Hello, we are a new family in London and reside on Grey Street. Actively looking for an English speaking parish. Any useful information here will help.
