This is a truly special place. We've been to a few Michelin starred places recently but Paris House was much better. The menu was extremely creative. Each dish was a fusion of different cuisines, combining the best elements of each. What's more they are child friendly. We brought our one year old and they went out of their way to cater for us. We had to pre-order off of a special kids menu, which included healthy, delicious food. The location is also superb. The building is beautiful. I cannot recommend it enough!
Experience was great, and the food was even better, all the dishes were perfect other than the duck dish, which was just too rich for me. The only reason I'd give it a 4/5 is the service wasn't exceptional. For the price of the day you'd expect more attentiveness from the staff. We spent just under £220 for two people with two drinks.
Paris House was beautiful. Incredible food and dedicated staff. The wine pairing was outstanding and helped the dishes excel. The staff are happy to arrange taxis also.
We enjoyed most dishes from this menu, found the sauce with Pork dish over powering, both desserts looked amazing yet the kafir lime unsettled our taste buds until the end of the meal. The wine flight was well presented and the sommelier was super knowledgeable. He produced a couple of beautiful surprises with the Perricone from Sicily and the Dindori Reserve 2021 from India. Otherwise the service was somewhat lacking in finesse, the dishes presentation was robotic and there was little interest in our satisfaction of the food. The equivalent vegan menu was superb and its presentation immaculate and flavours were exquisite. A great birthday treat, thank you for the card, a thoughtful gesture!
A beautiful setting and attentive knowledgeable staff. Food was excellent. Beautifully presented and interesting. A great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Superb 60th Birthday meal with my partner. Food and service are faultless.. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended Food: 5/5
Amazing location, ideal place for a taster menu. What an evening we had, great food, friendly staff & then to see some deers staring at us outside, as we left, topped the evening off.
A beautiful location in the Deer park at Woburn in a mock Tudor building from the Victorian age. The decor is good and the service was attentive. The food on the 6 course tasting menu at £89 per head was good but I thought they were trying too hard with so many flavours in each dish. A minor point was that to have to ask for a glass for to be refilled indicated a slight lack of service but I may be being picky. Charging 12.5% as a service charge is slightly taking the mickey especially as mentioned above so just stick it on your prices #cost of living crisis. Alcohol prices are huge, £6 for a glass of non alcoholic beer is a bit daft. Anyway a good experience but it all felt a bit tired and running out of ideas. Not one I would return too and I have been there twice but not a third time.
A beautiful, culinary experience with great staff set in a most relaxing country setting.
Lovely entrance, nice to see the deer roaming around the grounds. Building exterior is gorgeous. As a meat eater I decided to go for the vegetarian option and I enjoyed 5/6 courses. Portions were a good size and the menu introduced me to new flavours and combinations. The Bean puree The pre meal nibbles the round cheese balls were to die for! The bread was to die for! Service was very good and the staff were knowledgeable. One thing I'd say I wasn't a fan on and this is random the bowls were too deep and the clanging noise when the cutlery knocked it was off putting when trying to eat the meal. Told you it was random haha.
