A great gift shop with an impressive cook shop downstairs!! I love their selection of cards and quirky gifts. They also have a large range of candles & jelly cat toys! I can’t help but pop in every time I’m in the west end.
Royal Mail took some time delivering my order, and Papyrus were super responsive and helpful about it. They even checked again a few days later whether my parcel had arrived without me messaging again - really brilliant customer service! 10/10 recommend :
Love popping into this shop whenever I'm in the west end. It always has the kitchenware I need including the random wee things! and the staff are really helpful.
In our house we call it "the favourite shop" for a reason. They have a great selection of books, mainly scotland and slow-living related. They sell crafts from local artists, plants, and even kitchenware. Totally worth paying a visit!
Great wee gift shop with the basement dedicated to the cookery wares and gadgets
Always worth looking in here as they stock top end brands, and nearly always have a sale on something or other. Lots of unusual smaller gadgets that are hard to come by elsewhere. Well worth a visit, if only out of curiosity. I always end up buying something!!
Amazing wee shop in the heart of the west end! I love this mainly though because being disabled I walk with crutches and one of the shop assistants was lovely enough to help me by carrying the items I was wanting to purchase and was very patient and kind and I take that as a great experience! The Glasgow byres road store is one needed costing!
Never quite sure what this shop is. It's well curated and has some interesting stuff but it's stuck between nice kitchenware and cards with some of those presents you buy for someone you don't know. It's a good shop and better than Oliver bonas any day and deserves a look but I cannot tell you what you'll walk out with
I don't mind paying a little extra for a good service, but this place is overpriced by some margin. The shop itself feels very old and outdated, like the decor has not been changed since the 90's and there is no format or formal layout to the shop; one section sells cups and the next is pencils, it's more like the gift shop at the end of a museum tour, except you feel ripped off. I used to love this place for years, but it seems the prices go up beyond inflation and the surrounding shops like they think they are special, but in honesty I haven't been in in the past six months since one of the older staff with blonde hair bumped into me and looked me up and down like it was my fault.
Now here is a shop with the most excellent customer-service and friendly attitude. Not only great products and great prices, but hugely impressive customer-service. I cannot possibly recommend this enough. It's so rare to see people going well beyond the call of duty to help customers. Fantastic!
