Generally love this Papa John's. However, while I know I was late ordering, this time was absolute horrendous! The food was cold upon delivery. Furthermore it was substandard. Unfortunately, I eat a lot of takeaways. I called the establishment and they not only lied, they hung up on me. I'll beg them to release my audio. I was respectful. I'll will take this further. They claimed that they delivered within 10 minutes. You can't cook a pizza within that time. I generally don't leave negative feedback. But I must tonight. I'll call them tomorrow. UPDATE: I called back the following day to discuss my concerns. The lady claims that she was present the night before and said it would always be cold within 30 minutes of delivery. She didn't understand, when I asked if it was a franchise store. She told me to complain to the Papa John's website, however that asks you to deal with the store hence franchise. I was denied any further details. No names, no franchise owner. I was asked to bring the pizzas back to the store for a refund. It was delivered. I had to dress up the pizzas and put them on the oven, just to eat that night. According to the site, you must contact within a certain time Done can't eat more than two slices Done, until we were hung up on. I feel I'm a fair reviewer. We did everything right, and the service wasn't there. In fairness, we literally only order from Papa John's. That has now ended.
Every time Iv ordered it’s been spot on. Great food and as for there juicy loosy burger that’s just next level. Good work guys
The pizza turned up cold soggy and inedible called the restaurant to get a new order or refund and the staff were very rude and refused to send a replacement and refused a refund we have been ordering from here and never had a problem bit I will never been ordering from here again

Waited over an hour for it to be delivered and got a cold pizza
Waited an hour and a half for delivery, received a cold pizza. When called the restaurant, the manager flat out refused to speak to me. They are happy to take your money but if something goes wrong good luck trying to get in touch.
We have ordered many pizza's from here and to be honest never had a bad meal, sometimes you have a wait a little while but nothing thats an issue. All fast food deliveries are the same. People describe the pizza as dry but I like that they are not full of grease and fat like other leading pizza companies. Good pizza, Good sides, Good value, Good service. I think people need to be realistic in their expectations
Papa John's Braintree is probably the best pizza I have had. From the fresh light pizza base followed by the lovely tasting tomato sauce, cheese and outher toppings. Cooked to perfection. I will never have a dominos pizza again. The difference between the two pizza places is like day and night. If you haven't eaten a papa John's do your self a favour and try it, you won't be sorry.
Don’t waste your time with this Papa John’s. Everytime we order we receive the pizzas and sides without the dips. We called the restaurant and they did not offer any solutions. Worst customer service! AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I ordered a Half and Half Pizza. As my wife's eats Meat , and I'm a vegetarian. So when I take my side of the pizza. I noticed bitten into a chunk of ham. I felt sick , and couldn't eat it. Called up Papa John's Colchester. Was told this happens. Not in our control. As how we add ingredients. Totally unbelievable , and after hearing he's excuse. I decided not to order from Papa John's again. Shouldn't put Half and Half on the menu. As a vegan will end up with Meat.
