Oh it won't be long before these are below 3 stars, all complaints about the same thing. Pizza never showed, I then rang to see where it was, no answer, I then rang again, person was rude and then hung up on me.. pizza then arrived uncut. But having seen the type of staff loitering outside the actual store I should of known better. So it's my own fault for thinking they were anything but useless.
I had an absolutely delicious pizza from the Loughton Papa Johns. It was prepared and delivered with care in an expected time frame. The pizza was delivered hot being almost fresh from the oven. Even the tomato base was succulent and tasty. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've had outside of Italy.
This was the worse choice of my life haven't had a pizza this bad. I would advice the council to pay a visit and maybe fine them or close them down I think there is a food and hygiene matter within this papa John's. Please take this review seriously.
Food undercooked, potatoes brown and charged for stuff that wasn't delivered.
Pizza ordered tonight at 7:36. Arrived an hour and ten minutes later and stone cold. I understand it’s a peak time but that long a wait for two stone cold pizzas is a joke. Had to reheat in oven as not waiting another hour or more for what would most likely be two more cold pizzas. Even with 40% off nearly £30 spent. Pathetic. Offered 50% off next order. Lol why would I even pay half price next time after wasting my money today. A free pizza next time should have been offered at least, not that I would have bothered with it after this. Never ordering here again.
The worst pizza I’ve had in my life not even kidding, papa johns pizzas are not for me
The place is well known , clean , modern , up to date and modern which is good because they can make good pizzas but I wished it is cheaper than it is now but worth it. I have got a pizza from because it is delicious , tasty , fresh , scrumptious and amazing in there own way such as big pizza because I had a pizza from there. The staff are friendly , prepared , alert , responsible , quick and good with making food. I wished it was more cheaper , so I can buy it but it is worth every penny so buy it from there. You will enjoy even more and more with people around you because they have everything you need such as good sides , soft drinks and big pizzas. If you close to it then go there and buy it because you will regret it if you don’t have it from there but make sure you order enough pizza for your family and friends.
My order was 009515 from Loughton store. I ordered XXL margerita. The service was outstanding, pizza delivered within the expected time and most importantly pizza was delicious as always.
Ordered 2 pizzas Sunday never received them. No delivery i called up over an hour later told him where is my order sorry couldn't find your house and the mobile number he said was wrong but he had my email address so why not just email me?? Upset had friends over..still waiting for refund!!
UPDATE 1: Following my feedback to Papa John's post-order survey, one of the managers, Karl, called to chat about what went wrong and how they could make things right. He sounded very genuine on the phone so I have agreed to give them another chance. Hopefully, a better experience will be provided next time. Increased star rating to reflect this. First time I've ordered from here and not the best experience to be honest. Not enough cheese had been put on the pizzas so the little that was on it just ended up burnt rather than being soft and gooey. The chicken was tough and bland. Also, you don't get a free dip with the thin crust option which is a pretty stingey policy. I hadn't realised this, and when I called up to query, the girl on the end of the phone was so dispassionate and 'computer says no' it was painful trying to converse with her. So, sub-standard pizzas and mediocre customer service. I won't be returning.
