Our home away from home, 3 visits this year alone and will be back next year. Wonderful park, lovely and clean grounds and facilities, super friendly staff and just an overall fabulous holiday every time we come. Thank you everyone for all your hard work, see you next year!!!
Booked this very last minute, was camping at a site 20 mins away had a problem with tent and needed somewhere quick for 2a 3c and a dog! A very friendly lady helped us to get sorted asap and we were made up with the site! Has everything that you would need kids have loved their stay! Everything is close by but the site is still quiet and very well maintained. Thank you for saving our holiday!!
Have stayed here a few times ,very clean site ,this time we stayed in one of the sites own caravans, which we were happy with, though we only went for the bronze option it was well equipped, the pool is lovely and warm
I used to love this site but having just returned from a 1 week stay I think the site has changed. The evening entertainment was not great at all. The arcade is overpriced and rubbish for small children. I was also disappointed when the club was closed for 3 nights and relocated to the pub. The pub is awful. We went in with my two young children and there was a funny smell and no atmosphere. We quickly left and went to winkups instead and returned to winkups for the remaining 5 nights of our holiday. The caravan we hired from Palins was also not cleaned as I would expect. The wooden tops of the sofa were dusty and had dirt on them. The mirrors had finger and hand prints on them and the top of some of the bedroom wardrobes had wrappers left on there from previous users. Also on arrival we went to reception to check in and heard someone shouting outside the pub about someone owing some money. It was quite scary to be initially greeted by that and immediately put me off the pub. I would however say that the on sight park for the children is good and seems well maintained. Unfortunately, we won't be returning and will instead be staying on winkups which seems much more family orientated.
It's a nice friendly site and the magpie is always good for a night out good bit of banter with friendly bar staff
Great location.lots of privately Owned caravans for rent in hieght of summer Aprox £450/580 week.. Great facilities with wheelchair access even caravans great little swimming pool..fast food etc my only compliant is it's expensive to eat and get very little for your money ...maybe it's just me being a fatty
Lucky to get one star my dad went on holiday here with family and friends a few of them had food poisoning from either the breakfast onsite or the chip shop on site my dad had ecoli from there chip shop and now has sepsis seriously ill in hospital never again they will go to this site disgusting dirty unhygienic site with staff that can blatantly not cook or store food correctly avoid at all costs.
Beautiful site but it’s noisy at night bc of the clubhouse although the caravans are gorgeous and very spacious x
Lovely campsite. Caravans are spotless, staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. There is a small pool, amusement arcade, club, kids play area, laundrette and shop. Also there is a pub on site, the magpie and stump that is great for a quiet drink or a lovely meal I can highly recommend the Sirloin Steak, 'delicious'.!
Excellent amenities, great staff and friendly service
