Went to see greece the musical at this grand old theatre. fantastic inside. but no leg room. Your legs are touching the back of the chair in front of you . The musical comes in two parts, with an interval halfway through which is needed to stretch your legs . It's put together really well . The staff was helpful and welcoming. It was great to see bags being checked by the security team . It was also fantastic to see the theatre staff dealing with the odd few people spoiling it for other people by talking through it as two women in front of us were a little worse for wear though drinking disgusting behaviour from two women who should know better . They were spoken too several times . But overall, a good nightnThey also let you take photos at the very end . Some shows may very on this .Well done to all staff working at this grand old lady theatre
Little cramped for room if your 6ft and above. Be careful what seats you order.nBrilliant venue tho and looks stunning.. Grease was amazing
What a night!!!nnFirst of all. Hairspray was incredible and i recommend it to everyone!! But that’s not what we’re here to talk about!nnThe Palace Theatre is wonderful. It gives you exactly what you expect from a theatre! Glitz and glam! The staff were excellent and helping you find where to go! We didn’t queue outside for ages, they were getting people in really quickly!nnVery pleasant experience!
Went there with my wife and daughter for Aladdin, it was spectacular show.nThe staff were great and overall experience was very good, tbh I didn’t like the seats, very limited leg room and very steep .
First ever visit on a busy Saturday to watch Grease.nQuick security check and friendly greeting from staff to point me in the right direction.nTook them ages to open more toilets and the queue for the ladies was massive.nAs you can imagine food and drink extremely expensive. I used the website to order and have it delivered to my seat as did my sister. They brought my sisters but didn't bring mine. As the show was about to start I didn't have time to wait in the extremely long bar queue, the usher said he would sort it for me but he forgot.nSo in the end I had to order another bottle of water for £3 to be delivered to my seat on the interval and when the server came I explained the problem and he brought my things right away.nSeats were comfortable, staff were friendly and the show was great.nOnly knocked the star off because I don't like places that tell you to order yourself and then don't get it right. Especially for that cost
