I had a fantastic experience at the theatre. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The seating was comfortable, but the leg room was restricted. However, that didn't hinder the experience. The show was thoroughly entertaining and kept us engaged from start to finish. Overall, it was a brilliant night out, and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again!
Saw kinky boots this afternoon in the Palace theatre. Also was there a couple weeks ago for an evening showing of wicked. Both musicals I’ve seen before but the palace theatre made them extra special. A fantastic theatre that’s interior is beautiful and both shows had incredible bands and acoustics. Great staff as well really friendly and makes you feel really special when checking you in, signposting your seats and serving you at the bar. Love it
Just back from watching Bat Out Of Hell musical... WOW!nWOW! This is the Best show I've seen for years and years. The singing was the best I've heard since I heard Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford in The Phantom of the Opera in the 1980s.nI totally recommend this show don't miss it!!
Went to see greece the musical at this grand old theatre. fantastic inside. but no leg room. Your legs are touching the back of the chair in front of you . The musical comes in two parts, with an interval halfway through which is needed to stretch your legs . It's put together really well . The staff was helpful and welcoming. It was great to see bags being checked by the security team . It was also fantastic to see the theatre staff dealing with the odd few people spoiling it for other people by talking through it as two women in front of us were a little worse for wear though drinking disgusting behaviour from two women who should know better . They were spoken too several times . But overall, a good nightnThey also let you take photos at the very end . Some shows may very on this .Well done to all staff working at this grand old lady theatre
Great theatre, with ample drink selection, the ability to take glass drinks and wine in, and order to your seat! Just to feedback, you were told no glass if you’re in the front row, they ran out of wine glasses and flute glasses, and there’s no announcements for returning to seats after the interval, nor a cut off for order to seat.
