The leg room was fantastic at the end of the row. They could have more toilets but this is the norm in theatres. Lots of places to buy drinks and snacks. Definitely one of the best theatres I have been to.
It's a historic theatre. The team on site were very welcoming.nAs is usual the concessions were outrageously expensive £7.35 for a chilled 500ml bottle of Pepsi max and a pack of star mix.nThe theatre is very grand inside. Beautiful decor and details in the foyer and theatre.nThere are three tiers of seats. We sat on the lowest level, a few rows back from the front.nThe sound from my seat was fabulous and the show was brilliant.nThe seats are from a different time when people were much shorter than today. I was uncomfortable throughout I'm 1.96m with not enough leg room and arms which I could not move.
Have seen 2 performances here. Most recently, I sat at the back of the circle. Throughout the concert, one of the steward's walkie talkies kept going off. And there is a gent's toilet right off the auditorium where the door kept banging and the hand drier could be heard from our seats. All these things were distracting and spoilt what should be a great venue. Pleased to say the ladies toilets were quiet and clean, no queues! I'd have to seriously consider going back to this venue for a music concert.
Went to see Burlesque the Musical. Sat in stalls row E20 and they were fantastic seats. Great architecture reasonable prices for consessions. Keep up the hard work guys
incredible main hall lined with historic sculptured pillars with three floors!nStaff struggle to be friendly and lack organisational skills but that doesn’t dent the beauty of what’s inside. Saw Engelbert perform here
