I recently visited the Manchester Opera House to see the David Bowie Experience, and the whole evening was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.nThe venue itself is excellent. The seats were genuinely comfortable a rare treat these days and very easy to access, with clear signage and helpful staff guiding people to the right areas. Toilets were conveniently located close to the seating, so no mad dashes during the interval. The bar staff were friendly, efficient, and handled the pre-show and interval rush with impressive calm.nThe performance was brilliant, and a real highlight was the singer actively encouraging the audience to take photographs, which helped create a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere rather than the usual “hands down, phones away” tension.nEntry to the event was quick and well organised, with no long queues or bottlenecks, and every member of staff I interacted with was welcoming and professional. Parking in Manchester was also plentiful and straightforward, which made the whole evening feel stress-free.nOverall, the Manchester Opera House is a superb venue that clearly knows how to run a great night out. I’d happily return without hesitation.
Went to see the musical, Top Hat as a treat for my wife. Loved the show, loved the venue too. Great place. So much more character than the huge arena shows nowadays. I understand the biggest, most popular shows have to be held in large arenas but you can't beat a show in a grand old theatre!nWould definitely book another shoe here too...
Visited 3rd Feb to see Swan Lake - sat in the circle. Great view. Love the to seat service. Fabulous performance. Daughter who is autistic and can feel sensory overload thought the theatre was amazing- loves the olde worlde feel.
Great theatre with stunning architecture. I saw mean girls the musical here and it was fab. Tickets for the shows are well priced as well with different price options for different seats. My view was the cheapest ticket and it was still great. Only complaint is the drinks are a bit overpriced, especially as they come in a plastic cup, I paid £8.30 for the cheapest zinfandel rose.
Had a great night out at the OPERA HOUSE MANCHESTER. Brilliant performance of SLAVAS SNOW SHOW.nStaff were awesome super friendly and helpfull. A big thankyou to Nicole B at the ticket office who re arranged our seating, stand out member of staff who was so nice it made our whole experience amazing. Also as we entered a big thankyou to Muhammad and the team from G4S who worked hard in the Rain and wind to ensure everyone's safety. Very professional, polite and welcoming a credit to G4S.nTicket price for the show was upto £70 per Adult for prime front seats we paid about £58 on ATG, was an ideal vantage point. The show itself was amazing funny and interactive ideal for children and adults a like as we are only a couple of months away from Christmas its a great show to get you in the mood with the 1st snow of the year in slavas blizzard. All in all great venue and an amazing show. Thankyou to all the staff, security and performers. Definitely be returning to The Opera House.
