Went to see a Tina Turner tribute show here the opera house was so small just like an oldnCinema house we have in Woolton Liverpool. It made the experience a pleasant change from the large arenas we attend to see concerts . Loved every minute the toilet facilities and seating was all positive no queues easy to leave at the end of the show would definitely go again. The little kiosk at the back selling drinks etc brought back lovely memories
Really good evening attending the opera madama butterfly.nStairs in the middle at the top needed a rail as the stair heights varied whilst going down towards the front. Chairs were really tight and cost fit with not enough leg room which made for an uncomfortable watch &. I’m 5ft8.nBeautiful interior though and staff were all very welcoming.
Enjoyed Mania: the Abba tribute. What can I say? My first impression was of confusion. Stage effects and decorations were minimal and simple, and so were the costumes. But both singers had amazing voices, and they pulled the show together. Abba music still brings people together. it's still as popular as 50 years ago. Singing and dancing along, energy was fantastic
Small but cozy! Very nice musical, Joseph and the amazing technicolor magic coat, we have seen!
This place is in desperate need of a facelift, maybe even a BBL. Whilst the show I bought tickets for was 10/10, the venue itself is lost in 00’s maybe even last millennia. There is absolutely no leg room, I’m 5ft7 and had to dangle legs out to find some comfort considering the show was 2+ hours. There are no at seat facilities, I held my drink whilst juggling popcorn because there’s no drinks holders.nOn the intervals the smoke bellows into the main gallery so strong, as if I’ve gone outside myself to smoke myself. The carpets have been well cleaned, I’ll give it that. Judging by the design I’d say the venue has done amazinglynWell to keep 20+ year carpets look pretty fresh. I’ve left needing a massage; I’ve got knots up my back and bow legged because the seats have not been upholstered so basically sat on hard surface.
