Hortons in Painswick Golf Club. A very nice meal with very generous portions. If you don't want to put on to much weight tell the waitress to stop loading your plate up - you've been warned.

Quite an experience. Worth playing for the incredible views. Go at a quiet time and with a relaxed attitude towards all the other people and animals who share this space. We wondered why there were quite so many dog walkers, families, even mountain bikers around, until we got to the top, saw the views and realised that the course is on the Cotswold Way! Then towards the end, driving over two roads, we had cars to look out for as well.
The course is short but doesn't feel like it, due to all the ups and downs. One par 3 in particular seemed almost vertical, especially when we made the mistake of dragging our trolleys up the steps when we didn't see the path round.
I would thoroughly recommend visiting as long as you don't take your golf too seriously. Not sure I'd have the patience to play regularly.

Excellent lunch meat very tender lots of vegetables good value. If I had one criticism it could have been a little hotter.

Great welcome at this golf club. Stunning views, great walk not spoilt in anyway by the golf, super hole 19 @ Hortons 💞 😇
