Beautiful beach. Had fish and chips on the pier, I don't think the oil was fresh it was cooked in. No seating nearby. To be honest the peer and the surrounding area was very disappointing. Use the public toilet next to the pier it was very dirty. The whole area a bit neglected.
Fantastic place for families to enjoy. A brilliant variety of rides and arcade machines to enjoy. Fantastic fish and chip shop at the beginning of the pier and toilets nearby 30p entry to loos

Place is OK, doesn't seem to have changed a great deal in the past decade or two. If you enjoy arcades then this is the place for you, as there are a significant number of them around. The sea is actually quite a nice colour, but the sand less so. The beach doesn't seem so busy, but there also isn't too much space on the sand
I have been visiting here since I was child. Lot's going on for all ages to enjoy. Plenty of seating available the length of the pier to sit and relax. Ice cream, drinks, doughnuts stalls along the pier. Large seating area and refreshments at the end of the pier. A must place to go if you are in the area.
A very quaint Victorian pier with a very nostalgic vibe. Very busy most of the time and open late with award winning fish and chips, arcades and other eateries. Also unlike others it's free entry which I find encouraging as if you want to just stroll along it you can.
Lovely place to stop and get a coffee at the moment and look at the ships or have a walk .
Busy but manageable. Although I'm pretty sure the stay home save lifes message has not sunk in yet with some people.
