Always have guest ales on which are well looked after & very friendly staff. Look out for Terry always gives you a warm welcome & a genuinely funny man.
Only open occasionally. The inside.of the building is well preserved and restored. I was given a free tour with a member of the Paignton Heritage Society. The tour was interesting though I will be doing some further research to consolidate the information given.
A place stooped in the history of Old Paignton, with links to the vicarage and Tower near by.

i live next to it only seen it open handful of times in 15 months the guy looking after it has just passed away think under new management will see if this season it opens up more feel sorry for all the people i see looking through windows wishing to look inside shame
