Came here today for my birthday with my family had scampi and chips really enjoyed them this time,the staff are pleasant,clean restaurant,not enough staff as the couple next to us complained about waiting for 5-10 minutes to be served,we recommend the scampi and cod,happy customers and mum left a tip,happy days
Lovely battered fish and beautifully cooked chips, even better eaten in the restaurant. Interesting menu. Friendly staff. I tend to go mid-week, early lunch time so can't really comment on atmosphere but the restaurant is very clean and well lit so that you can enjoy seeing what you are eating. Parking: Small private car park. Should be enough for a full restaurant. Street parking should be adequate for take-away. Dietary restrictions: Ask staff
My wife and I went for the first time today and had a fantastic meal. I had the Monk fish which was amazing. My wife had the Cod which was also brilliant. As someone brought up in a chip shop. I know the hard work needed to get to that level. Parking: Adequate and easy access
Wow what amazing fish and chips. I had the cod and was a lovely thick fluffy piece the wife and MiL always have the Place which was massive the biggest Place I've ever seen. The batter and chips was also top draw all in all an amazing meal Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options Parking: Next to it about 8 spots
My grand daughter took me to the restaurant for lunch and I was blown away by the lovely food and the wonderful service. The staff were wonderful and everyone in the restaurant was having a great time.Food: 5/5
My friend and I had a lovely lasagne and chips at Pages two weeks ago. It is akwats hot, very tasty and the various staff that have served us are always pleasant and accommodating, allowing us time to choose, given that we're busy chatting and not looking at the menu, haha. Travelling back from South Wales and this is worth a minor detour. Haddock and chips, slice of bread and butter, washed down with a cuppa tea. Dining in is clean and welcoming with friendly, quick service. Parking spaces available outside. Both my haddock and wife's cod were cooked perfectly, with crispy batter and flaky inside. All in all... fish-tastic and chip-a-licious.
Nice well cooked pasty and chips. They don’t put much salt and vinegar on so ask for more if you like your salt and vinegar. Partner had fish and chips which was also perfect but again light on salt. Other than that its a great well portioned venue with ample parking if your eating in or taking away. Bonus that its close to town if your having a shopping day and want to stop for lunch
The restaurant is amazing! It has so many options to choose from. You will guaranteed find something you love here. It's just too bad the wait to be served is very long. Parking: There is a small amount of spaces, maxing out at least 15
Just took a drive to here as Jones in Newport was closed and heard good things. Omg what a mistake! The fish is actually inedible and has just been thrown out. It was like rubber.
