I stayed here for 3 or 4 days in the week for just over a month. Everything about the hotel is brilliant, the rooms are very nice. Spacious, clean, and we'll decorated. There's an excellent selection of drinks to be had whatever your favourite may be. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly and staff are very polite and chatty. Service is second to none! The food has to be the highlight, all home cooked and prepared in house. My favourite on the menu was definitely the steak and ale pie. The deserts were incredibly good. My favourite being the lemon cheesecake. Carvery is on a Wednesday but do book in advance as spaces go very fast indeed. Can't wait to visit again!
Only visited The Cwrt Henllys twice, and on both occasions was very enjoyable. The Bar and Lounge is spotlessly clean and well presented. The Bar has a vast selection of Wines, Beers and Spirits plus some modern day selection of drinks. The Restaurant looks very nice, and the large conservatory looks an excellent choice for any family and business venue. The views are something to admire as you can see straight across the Bristol Channel. There is seating outside for those who want a drink in the fresh air on a summer's evening. Back inside the Lounge Bar is a small room which occupies a Poole Table and back in the LB are a few TV screens two standard size and one large screen to view those important sports events. Upstairs is accommodation with En suite rooms, which, if as presentable as the downstairs will be worth a stay. I'm led to believe that there is a swimming pool on the premises, not too sure if it a private one or not. The menu has your usual Bar meals, however, cannot comment yet on the food, but that won't be long before I try there cuisine. And finally the owners/Landlord and Landlady are very welcoming and 'full' of character. So,The Cwrt Henllys is well worth a visit.
Fantastic night at Cwrt Henley’s last night had a family get together. The owners Tracy and Steve were fantastic friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The meal was great for adults and the children. The bar staff and waitresses were friendly and helpful. We were staying the evening and when the family left were made to feel so welcome in the bar by the owners and friends they had staying. Room was great very clean and fantastic value. This is the second time we have stayed here and will not be the last. Thank you all for making it a fantastic evening. Steve and Karen.
Booked in advance for a cavery eat in. We were greeted on arrival in a most endearing manner & shown to our selected table. The carvery superb. Meat beyong good, great choice of veg & the gravy ... magnificent & hot. One could ask no more. Food actually affordable Fabulous 5star food, ambiance, mine hosts - the best. We shall revisit with family very soon.
First visit and found it was very busy with the Wednesday carvery and because we did not book had to make do with crisps. They are short of staff at the moment which explains why they could not fit us in. The facilities looked good and we look forward to another visit in the near future.
We haven't been to the Cwrt Henllys for over 10 years, but I have to say everything is still as good as it used to be. Amazing carvery with a great selection of sweets. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, we will definitely be returning very soon.Food: 5/5

We enjoyed a tasty carvery in a pleasant, relaxed and friendly environment. A lovely midweek evening out. The servings were generous, the food excellent and tge desserts were especially delicious.
Wow! Tracey, Steve and the team catered and hosted our daughters christening party. What can I say the buffet and quality of food was fantastic, everyone enjoyed the day and setting. Many thanks all and we definitely will be doing it again.Service: 5/5
