Had really good time here, the owners dog kept us entertaining by playing fetch. Really nice idea of having fireplace in a barrel. Eco toilets were alright too.

- Super friendly and helpful owner who lives right there. - You'll be provided with fire trays and grill mesh, which you can position as you like - Site is compact, but very nicely laid out - open 7 days /week - Draw back was the amount of kids... running and shouting all the time

Great "back to nature" campsite in a lovely location, surrounded by trees. Amenities are great, don't expect fancy loo blocks and a shop, but the owners are so friendly and can source you food and wood - because this is one of the few places you can have proper fires, hurrah! We've stayed in the log cabin as well, super cost with the woodburner going if tenting it is too much for you!
