UPDATE: Had to resort to another firm. Turns out Pace Heating literally stole the valve they fitted two weeks earlier and left our boiler in an unsafe state. Completely unfit to be gas certified. AVOID AT ANY COST.  See my earlier review below:  Absolute joke. Came to fix our boiler. The engineer said he needed to pop out to call the landlord to get permission to install the part. Came back 6 hours later to finally fit the part.  Then, several weeks later, the engineer turns up completely unannounced at 8:30pm as I’m putting the kids to bed and says he has to do a safety check.  He works for 30 minutes, then says he needs to go to his van “to check something”. Never came back - and didn’t mention the boiler now has a fault and we have no hot water.  It’s been 24 hours and no sign of them coming back to finish the job, despite our landlord contacting them to get them to come.

PACE appears to be a one man organisation Mr Francis as opposed to the impression given by pictures on websites associated with this enterprise.  Regretably, I have employed Mr Francis twice.  I am now getting a proper engineer to: 1 refit the filling loop that I have now discovered Mr Francis had installed the wrong way round, 2 replace the PRV valve that Mr Francis incorrectly diagnosed as a problem with the expansion vessel for which I was charged a substantial sum, 3 replace the wireless receptor that mercifully! Mr Francis said was "too difficult" for him and. 4 rectify the problem of no heating that Mr Francis left us with.  If you have any further doubts about PACE, use Google maps to look at the addresses associated with this company.
